Hi

I was wondering are those 3 point tackle mods effective for all those people who think you just need to have 2 WCS and you will be fine tripping through low sec ?

I suppose you can bump haulers out of alignment even if they have a rack of wcs?
But what about smaller craft like dessies and cruisers if they have a lows full of wcs ?
I think most frigates are too quick to catch anyway ?

Do tacklers use both a scambler and disrupter as another way of getting 3 points but does that work anyway ?

Professional gatecamps usually use a Heavy Interdictor which can "script" its bubble mod to a focused warp disruptor with infinite warp strength.

Apply sensor boosters or remote sensor boosters and it will be able to catch all but the fastest frigates.

Isnt bubble camps for Null sec ... I guess in retrospect, I was asking primarily for low-sec scenarios and what the 'professional ' set ups are like vs the more amateur ?

And what the usual methods of catching prey was ? So thats why I was wondering why i had come across more 3 - point tacklers in my travels .

Shah WAS referring to low sec. Heavy Interdictors have a "Script" that will convert their bubble maker, to what is known as an "infinite point". 'Infinite' being the key word.

-3 warp scramblers have their place but, as previous responder suggests, the infinipoint option of a heavy interdictor is preferable in many situations ... much better point (infinite, so no amount of warp-stabs counter it), but no shutting-off of MWD and no flexibility re what ship types you use.

No doubt there are many other uses but my main use of -3s is w-space bombers trying to catch deep space transports.

I guess I am almost a 'vet' by now. Hopefully not too bitter and managing to help more than I hinder. I build and sell many things, including large collections of bookmarks.
