Look at screenshot.

repairing my buzzard after a tackle. No armor left, 80% in hull. I eject, hop into a repper ship, lock the buzzard, see this.

Armor, -25%, weird armor markings in the health meter..

Because your skills left the ship. It is no longer getting any bonuses from skills you trained thus lowering is armor values negative.

Shocked File that bug report!

Last time I saw that, it was because the server was dying in a fight before TiDi was implemented.

usually that just leaves armor at 0% value, i never seen it go into negative before...and i never seen weird armor health bar, with white and red meter pieces in the middle...

Not hat i care, i repped the buzzard and logged off lol. But, out of interest...

Leaving your ship removes any skill related bonuses that were being applied, hence the change in the armour amount.

On second thoughts after looking at your picture, that's pretty strange, and the above probably doesn't apply.

Eve has been dying so long that it has a bit part in the next series of The Walking Dead.

In the beginning there was nothing, which exploded.

Well it is over 10 years old now. Someone needs to get in there and check for any weak tubes.

They say most of your brain shuts down on the EvE forums. All but the impatient side, and the sarcastic side. No wonder I'm still awake.

I like this one better. Think it had something to do with getting podded, or losing implants and adding skills to the top of the skill queue. (Already reported it)

But it should not show on the screen like that. It does make repping it look odd, as several cycles could pass before you see any progress.

Side note: This effect of skills on hit points gets serious when its hull. If you eject from a ship with just a tiny amount of hull left, it could well explode.

In once ejected from a ship with extensive hull damage, it blew up. Guess my SP was keeping it together. Funny thing was that everybody asked me how I created a wreck inside a POS forcefield. Lol

actually this have already been bug reported to death, to no avail but CCP claiming it is working as intended.

it is rather easy to reproduce, take armor damage , then eject ship or turn OFF a plate -> you armor HP pool is now lower than the armor damage.

your armor is now impossible to be repped since it is in the negative.

to fix it, you have to hop back in the ship or turn the plate(s) back on / fit them back.

this issue is more than a year old fyi

I heard Eve was dying!

@OP, dude.....please don't use such a crappy image sharing site. I'm not going to point you in the direction of a better one, but don't use that speciffic one. Preez.

And as it has been said before, it's quite possibly because lol Hull Upgrades V.

This is as nice as I get. Best quote ever https://forums.eveonline.com/default.aspx?g=posts&m=4137165#post4137165
