Solution: divide the MD to 2 categories:

1) legal scams/isk hookers/money lenders and RL economic losers trying to mimic RL finance system into eve.
2) useful market discussions with things related to eve.

PS: This is a GAME.

Lol at the ps this is a game.I ain't the one complaining how my forum is not filtered from X or Y.Ever noticed how much posts and threads there are created on a normal daily MD day?Just enough to cover the first page on a good day with fresh posts.

So again , i see complains but i still don't see any new thread relating to what you or others who prefer the split call a usefull market discussion.Go on ... make the thread and maybe make the change. And once we have enough ''good discussions market related'' going on we can start talking about removing the loans.Till that time removing them serves no purpose what so ever appart from showing just how dead the MD is without those loan threads.

Edit: sorry about the 2 previous remarks.Quote did not work and when trying to edit made post again.]

There is a section for it but they don't want them either.

It's called sell orders.

Suggesting that CCP make a sub catorgory for bonds and loans is like saying that they are an important part of the game. Yet I believe the game can also work very well without them. After all, I do not see the [bonds & loans] button on my station panel.
Perhaps you should be discussing a possible ingame function for this?

Maybe you should GTFO back to C&P or whatever hell hole you came from.

MD has very few new threads as it is. If they were to further divide the forum then the traffic here would be negligable.

At least the one good thread a week wouldn't be buried in a mountain of jita-local-like bond spam.

Another day , another person asking for loans to be moved .... and still no MD worthy thread started by those in favour of moving the loans out.

I won't give up hope though , tomorrow will be a different day .... you just watch .... change , change is gonna come.

Sounds like someone has an RMT operation he wants to protect...

Trebor passed on this suggestion to one of the community managers before the forums launched, however like much else with CCP simple fixes get dropped on the floor.

And yet you prove what i said above by making your next MD post a bond one.Not an iskloan but stated by yourself as a bond and as such making it once more obvious that those who favour of moving the bonds/loans out are not trying to make the change as to make Md worth it to move those threads out.THAT is what annoyes the hell out of me.It's like making a thread saying 'Hey CCP i want empire to be fully safe from any suicidegankers' and then right after it i take out my smartbomb rokh and gank on the perimeter gate.If you want the change you work for making it happen.

Unlike what you think i would LOVE it they where seperate IF the MD forum had much more to offer but it does not.

MD of old had lots to offer, assuming you were willing to dig through tons of silly bond offerings. No one bothers posting any useful discussion any more as the discussion gets drowned out.

I also thought the Tyrannis NPC PI fuckup was stupid and should never have happened, doesn't mean I wouldn't profit from it. Or farm Likes, and if you can't see the logic behind that then you are severely deficient in logic sause.

The number of posts and threads made is a LOT lower then it used to be.That offcourse goes for all the forums , just look at CAOD and crime and punishment. As such these days IF you would create a topic worth reading as you state it would be much more visible and stay visible for a longer time then it used to.

I looked at the old MD posts yesterday and what i noticed was a lot of the posts between 2004 and 2007 contained stuff wich allready IS removed from MD.Sales of ships etc in 2004 was posted here as such there was a WTS/WTB forum created. There was a lot of discussion going on in regards to industry etc wich now is being posting in it's own forum.

What i am trying to say is that besides that old days allways look better in our views usually , the MD also contained posts wich where moved to other sub forums on demand. As such moving out the loans will indeed make MD pure and clear but in my believe it will also be the final blow the MD forum needs to become obsolete.

Would CCP see the need in having a subforum wich only has a handfull of posts on a weekly base is the key question.

quite true , if you start a search on the forums about practicly anything , you will get a bunch of posts dating back to older dates .you may dislike the fact that eve is "drained out" as there is almost litlle to no updates about the game itself wch is not surprising and come with the natural evolution of a game.
loans threads in MD have take a good place in forums (mainly because a bunch of pple end up losing their money to a scam) , but still creating a subforum for them is still a good option and its not stripping them from their importance.
its just a way to make forum nice and fluffy!

I believe that the reason there are so few decent threads in MD is because they get buried under a mountain of isk-begging bond/loan threads.

Build it and they will come.

Id love more interesting threads but to be honest what is there to actually talk about? No one wants to mention anything to precise about the market or comment on prices / trends because everyone here are traders and dont want to flood their markets but letting the world know about them.

Until there is actual new economic content that creates new and interesting stuff for us to talk about and build upon what can we say that hasnt been said a million times before. At least the bond ppl are providing some extra content that would otherwise be lacking from the game. And every so often you get someone who has really thought hard about coming up with something new and interesting - even tho it will generally get shot down and trodden on as a likley scam or overly flawed somehow.

Having said that, actual discussion threads can be hard to spot through all the bonds n stuff :P

I was under the impression MD was filled with people wanting to show off how e-rich and e-successful they were.

Most of the others have been hashed and rehashed.

I'd like to see more discussion about specific markets yet, I don't want to talk about markets I'm in ! lol

The more attention something gets, the more likely the profits will get squeezed for the type of trading I do (or used to do and might return to)

Moving bond offerings, IPOs and the like to Sell Orders really wouldn't be a bad thing though. They're not discussion threads, at least not most of the time, they're business requests -- much like any other sell order. For bonus points, we could move all Bank threads to Crime & Punishment.

Are potential investors more likely to be browsing MD or Sell Orders?

I was going to post my next bond offering in MD, but given the hostility to such postings, I'm hesitant to do so. My target audience would be investors, not buyers, so I think I'd get more of the desired attention in MD than Sell Orders.

I can understand the reasoning of moving such offerings out of MD though.

Potential investors are most likely to see the bond offerings if they are posted on the client log-in screen.
