Should CCP make a Movie Trilogy About eve

When i first started playing eve online in right after Rubicon I started to look up all of the old Videos CCP has made. All i can say is that all of them have been Epic. The new one they had just released Called The Prophecy blew my mind away. Then it got me thinking What would happen if CCP had a team of developers to make something explaining what eve is all about. From when Mankind first left Earth to colonize New Eden to the Collapse of the new eden gate. From the Rise of all 4 Empires to the rise of Capsuleers to the present. You could even get more players to join eve.

What would be awesome if CCP did something like what Defiance had done and tied there game with the actually TV show. CCp could then make movies and then have the Capsuleer play a part in the making and roles of the missions.

well there's already a TV Series gonna be made but i support that CCP Should make a 3 video like their trailers on youtube

Word of caution - Making a full length movie is very very different than making a three minute trailer.

So while an EVE movie would definately be fun, I have some doubts as to whether CCP actually has the knowledge and experience to put together a full length movie (nothing I've seen so far points to this - though I agree they make cool looking three minute trailers).

Teaming up with a studio which has experience in making full length movies would be the best way to go but you have to be very careful in such situations not to end up turning round in circles as to who is responsible for what. That's how mediocre movies are made, every day.

(As an aside - making even a single full length movie could be potentially a very risky and significant investment for CCP - now might not be the best of times to make such a gamble on their own)
