Assume by some scam, generous donation, or you quit your job to be a spaceship internet trader, you happen to come across 5 Trillion Liquid ISK. What would you do with it?

I'd:

  • Play for free forever.
  • Not talk about it.
  • Build up the market in my home system.
  • Win all the Team auctions for my home region.
  • ...do whatever else came to mind that sounded fun.

I'd probably not talk about it and don't do anything that would draw too much attention to me. And I would try to make even more ISK. If 5t is possible, then 10t sounds like a challenge. Buying an old character with a ton of SP would be on my list though.

Do you know who's going to inherit New Eden? Arms dealers. Because everyone else is too busy killing each other.

I'd plex myself and my friends that can't afford to play eve. I'd just use the isk to have fun with them like in other games.

1. Telling no one about it.
2. Buy 1-2 more accounts and characters to help my industry-alt.
3. Buy PLEX for all of my accounts for forever.
4. Activate triple training on all accounts, also for forever.
5. Buy all the expensive BPOs I ever wanted, but couldn't pay for.

About 30 years even with that stupid plan. Even with assuming PLEX-prices rising until the average is almost 1,2 billion ISK per PLEX. 5 trillion ISK is a lot.

You will become the #1 target of scams around.

If I knew of someone that just came into trillions (let's say SOMER did a "1 billion entry fee; winner takes all" lottery that got 5000 entries and they published that Player X won it), I know I'd be talking to Player X looking to provide investment advice.

Then one of the contracts - not the first one, not the second, but a long way down the track - I'd ask for 925 billion ISK instead of 925 million when trading some 'market speculation tip' product to them.

I might go to Jita during prime time and do some real ISK doubling for an hour or so ...
once per person, up to 1 Bn per person ... and only for people not on my block list - and I have close to two thousand blocked ... all the scammers, spammers, beggars, chat clearers and a few others. P

Another thing I'd consider: Set up an alternative to one of the established trade hubs (close to the established one; so if you were targetting Dodixie, you might set up in Balle) and stock it with 1T or so of a wide variety of items.

Then, hire serious mercs to lay siege to the old hub for an extended period, with orders to suicide gank any freighter or small hauler they can.

See if you can actually change the landscape of the game's trading.
