The potential fix will be on our test server Duality later today. If you feel compelled enough to give it a test, please do!
(If you don't have it or have Singularity, you can use the files from TQ so you don't have to download a big patch)
Check out the wiki, http://wiki.eveonline.com/en/wiki/Duality

Where we can read about new patch? And is it real patch tranq client ?

Logged onto Duality a few minutes ago ( Version: 7.20.323240 ).
I was able to reproduce the issue while ALT-TABing back and forth.
Same effect as on TQ, sadly.

If you can hit F12 while in Duality when the issue is present, and can hopefully see the bug reporting tool; then please submit it. It will give us relevant logserver files and information on what is happening to you.

Typical! :) Can you send a normal bug report please, via http://bugs.eveonline.com
See this https://forums.eveonline.com/default.aspx?g=posts&t=6354&find=unread to find out how to send us a logserver file etc.
I used a WinXP SP3 machine, with an AMD Athlon 4200 2.2Ghz and AMD 5750 to test. (With latest CCC),

If you can please supply as much information as possible I will keep passing it to the right guys to try and diagnose what is going on.

Unfortunately the bug is still present. I filled 3 bugreports. One prior to mass test from tranquility as number 120146.

Two more bugreports filled today during mass test 121047 and 121059. With the second one I am pretty sure I manage to take it during the bug occurrence.

EDIT: I am offering my help to test this bug further.

I haven't sent my BR yet, but....
I was running EVE on TQ in window mode for last few hours withou a single issue with UI.
Then I switched back to fullscreen and 2 minutes later.. bingo.. UI disappeared.
Can anyone reproduce/confirm this?

edit: believe it or not, just after I've hit the post button on this, my UI vanished. Shocked voodoo!

That is correct. In windowed mode the bug is not present as far as I have tested.

Got the same issue here. Had it since incarna, but usually only during situations with several hundred people on grid. Now it happens whenever I alt-tab, or even just from session timers. Really hope this can be resolved soon, seeing as it completely breaks the game.

Like the rest of us, I'm using windows XP sp3 32 bit.

It DOES do it in windowed mode as well, just NOT as much. what it does do more often in WINDOWED mode is, its causes the windows [more often the chat box] disappear and all the tabs turn different colors. but it the windows still vanish in windows mode, just not as often

XP Pro, SP3
Intel Core @ Duo E8400 @ 3.0 GHz
4GB Ram (3.25 usable)
ATI Radeon HD 3600 Series, 256MB
Driver Version 8.831.2.0

Updated Catalyst drivers toady to the latest 8.11.0.0, issue is still present on TQ.

I am right now logged on to Duality, and cannot reproduce the problem.... will post again if anything changes.

Edit - I have opened every window possible simultaneously, still cannot repro the problem....

Edit - Now back on TQ, and ship is frozen again in the hangar... not floating and won't spin.... windows are still randomly disappearing

The fix on Duality didnt help, im still able to reproduce the problem while dual logged and fullscreen.
Its just difficult to reproduce because you just dont have your usual stuff to do there.

This is happening to me with 1 client only in Win XP. Vid card is geforce 9800 with newest drivers.

Sometimes it seems to happen after alt tabbing.

Sometimes it just happens.

I'm having the same issue with the UI and it is making the game unplayable (especially in nullsec). I've resubscribed to Eve after about a year and never experienced an issue like this before.

All windows in eve are suddenly disappearing. After the disappearance on the screen the only part of the UI that remains intact is my circular shield/armour HUD indicator and its respective icons. The screen also darkens when I press the esc key but no menu or window is present.

This issue seems to sometimes have a relation to my input in the interface, such as passing my mouse pointer over a link or an option in the right-click drop down menu. Sometimes the disappearances occur when I double click on the top section of a window. When I try to minimise a window or press the icon that toggles window transparency, again, a full disappearence of all windows occurs. The issue also occurs randomly, seemingly when I've put in no input.

I am using a windows XP 32 bit operating system.

I've sent in bug reports on both my characters about this. It happens so often I literally cannot play. This happened right after incarna was deployed, but then it stopped, and it popped back up on sisi a few weeks before crucible hit TQ but my bug report was ignored. I just hope they fix it soon so i can play...

All my drivers are up to date, and my directx is up to date, cache has been cleared.

OS: 5.1, build: 2600, Service Pack 3
Video Card: NVIDIA GeForce GT 330M (Driver: 6.14.12.6658)
CPU: x86 Family 6 Model 37 Stepping 5, GenuineIntel @ 3.50 GHz (4 CPUs)
Memory: 2229 MB (881 MB in use)
Character: Kitari six , Solar System: Nakah

Windows XP

Its not an overheating issue like I first thought because it happens 75% of the time when you tab back into the game.

One way to fix it is to tab all your windows to minimized and then reopen them until it happens again, then tab back down and open all the windows except the problematic one.

I have to say this..

These issues should be priority 1 , or an announcement of changed system requirements (not supporting Win XP) should be in order.

Like others have said in this thread, this started about the same time as the "shader update" and have since escalated to being almost unplayable now. I was late filing my first bug report on this beacuse, like I wrote in the report, I though that this must be known and already worked on.

This is assuming that this has to do with us experiencing this are running Windows XP.
