I was born into the oppressive and violent Caldari State, where people are ground into dust for the benefit of the rich. I tried my hardest to be proud of being a citizen of the State, but how can you honestly be proud of being a part of such a group? I ended up leaving the State, in the hope of finding people that saw life as more than just the accumulation of wealth. For a time I thought I found this in Amarr, but I was wrong. They care about wealth, almost to the same degree that the State does, but on top of that they are also a backwards-looking culture. They are scared to advance; all they do is think about their old glory days, the days before they met anyone that could stand up against their insanity. They care more about race, than they do about ideas. No matter who you are and what ideas you hold, most of them will only see your race

I now found my true home, a place of peace, unity, teamwork, advancement, and honesty. Nation frees us from our suffering. No one is lonely in Nation. Everyone is equal in Nation. I have found Nation and I now live to serve Master Kuvakei. Nation is the solution to all of humanity's current problems. Through Nation my flaws will be washed away.

My journey into the service of Nation has not been easy, I have had some setbacks, but I look forward to the future.

If you are somebody who seeks peace and unity, please align yourself with Nation.

I think I'll just remember that all is flawed, and work with what I have. Best of luck.

Another one? Maker.

Aside from the usual pratering, though, you do have the gem of proclaiming universal equality, and then that you serve a master. That's a lovely one. I'll have to remember it.

Sorry to hear you grew up on the bad side of town, so to speak.

Can't say my life was anything like the one you described.

Guess I'm just lucky?

Good luck with the whole networking thing.

It's funny how Nation is so good at attracting the psychologically damaged and sociopathically bitter but never seems to attract actual visionaries and geniuses.

Wait, did I say "funny?" No, sorry, I meant "entirely unsurprising."

In every culture and sub-culture there is greed and avarice, including the sub-culture of Nation. But, you have short-changed the fact that there are enclaves also in each culture of peace and unity and that without the slavery, the volitional imprisonment that defines Sansha Kuvakei. Nation loyal capsuleers you will find to be just as angry, greedy, spiteful, and fallible as any other capsuleer. There is nothing "true" about true slavery. It is a dishonesty at its core. Mr. Sparrowhawk, you seem to want to seek self-mastery, to elevate your will above the noise of your own base passions and to give voice to the better passions. So do it! Do it not through implants and Sansha's violent program of conquest and slavery. Do it by choosing to be a man of peace, a man of mercy, and man of simplicity as opposed to greed. Begin to be the ideal within the flawed cultures around you.

The Disciples of Ston bid you peace

So, exchange a group of people with great wealth and extensive control over the populace, for one man with just as much wealth and absolute control over the populace.

Makes perfect sense.

I know that the Federation was lately acting as a waste bin, accepting all sort of rejects and human waste, like ones, who can't be competent to strive in the most progressive Caldari society.

But for Sansha doing this?.. I am hearing for the first time.
On the other hand, Sansha is known to lift all sort of biomaterial from the planets... just for being biomaterial.

Where did I mention that I wasn't a visionary or genius? I didn't say anything about this matter. It seems that you assume that if I reject the main empires I must be stupid.

Where did I say that I was "psychologically damaged and sociopathically bitter"? You must be assuming that just because I'm not happy with the major four empires, that there must be something wrong with me. Isn't it healthy not to be happy with something that is severely less than satisfactory? If you had a ship that only worked 50% of the time, would it wrong not to be happy with that? If you see people letting a homeless person starve to death, would it be wrong to be unhappy about that?

I'm fully aware that Nation loyalist capsuleers are not without their flaws. Nation is about striving to remove our flaws and achieve a collective perfection.

If implants help me become a better being, why shouldn't I use them?

It seems like I might like you, if I got to know you better. It seems like you want to become a better person, it also seems like you want peace for all humanity. These are goals that I highly respect, I just think you are going about achieving them in the wrong way.

That you did not. Indeed, this response would seem to suggest that Andreus' diagnosis that you are neither of those things is entirely accurate.

Well for a start you can kiss goodbye to privacy.

Stepping out of a shower, standing naked before the mirror as you examine that odd rash? Well now it won't just be you examining it - it'll be hundreds, thousands of your networked colleagues, ah.

Those things you used to look at on the Galnet when nobody else was looking? Well thousands of sets of eyes will be sharing those little personal perversions with you now.

That lady you take out for a date at a nice station restaurant? Not only will all your colleagues now be privy to the discrete dinner-table conversation but they'll also have front-row seats to whatever happens when you both get home.

And Bob forbid you ever have any doubts about your path, or your loyalty to Nation, as before you can even process such thoughts I'm sure Sansha's brute squad will be kicking your quarter's door in and giving you a good dose of motivation to stay.

Networking, sir. It makes me sick to my little tummy.

I have only just recently been made aware of it's full implications and the wide spread use of the technology involved. If I was you Mr Sparrowhawk I'd take a similar philosophy as my family and I have which is never to associate with such perverse technology or those who use it.

Surely that's Blaque. Seriously. Look at his picture...

I did once... Immediate feelings of needing to lock my door followed... And a mental image of a "party van" disguised as an ice cream truck with that leering pedo-bear in the drivers seat. I really hate my memory right now... Straight

As for implants making a better person... How can one improve without confronting their flaws?...

Honestly, I'd love to get a closer look at Nations structure and society, but the absolute that I'd wind up with unwanted implants is a bit of a turn off... I've got more than enough dodgy neural wiring already. What?
