Why Gallente? Did Gal really need yet another pirate faction based on them?

Cal/Min missiles/TPs would've made more sense IMO.

Unusual looking granted, but can't shake the feeling they were done in a rush, polycount looks low.

Mordu's Legion is made of Gallentean defectors, and they work with the Caldari very often. They're mercenaries, and there's a fair bit of lore about them- especially in Templar One (read it- it's amazing Big smile)

Caldari+Minmatar would've been awesome, but this works just as well for me- and we still have a lot of options for the other factions!

These ship design look original, unlike anything else in the game. I like it

Aren't there only three or so stations with Mordus agents? The pricetag on those ships will be astronomical.

Barghest Battleship Stingray.

Orthus Cruiser Some sort of contemporary hoovercraftthingy.

Garmur Frigate A mechanical lobster thingy with feelers.

They all look pretty descent. The new Moa with the bird of prey look - not in Star Trek Klingons style, but like a real predatory bird with the curved beak and stuff - and the new Condor however were even better looking. They were absolutely gorgeous.

Garmur looks like a beetle with scary mandibles. Also, isn't the Mordus Legion native to Black Rise? Will we only find these ships there?

They look good symetrical and SHARP,thing that you can say for other ships like Soe BS(which is symetrical but looks like a dull plank) or something like an atron that has that ******** little chicken wing coming out.

Very nice. I especially like the Orthus... Though I'm not so sure of the dinner plate with engines look of the Barghest. Jury's still out, and probably will be until I see more.

These ships including the new Moa and Typhoon look too good and classy to be true, especially in a world filled with duct taped solar panels and green bug-like ships. Whoever designed these I wanna marry him.

imo.

for a battleship it looks way too thin

it have that low profile stealth vibe and compared to current tech it just feels it cant take more than light caliber rounds and or rain will kill it,definitely not represent massive plated battleship monster.

smaller stuff looks ok not a fan by any margin.

The frigate and cruiser look like Mass Effect knock offs and the battleship is just awkward. I like the matte color scheme, very intimidating, but the bodies seem to show little that would make one think they had any relationship to Gallante or Caldari culture.

While the new Moa is "cool," the Caldari ships continue to wander away from the basic premise found in the lore that the Caldari believe in functionality over aesthetic. Aerodynamics don't mean a thing in space. The 'phoon is a nice evolution.

Very much inspired by stealth aircraft design, the BS Battleplate looks a bit odd, but I rather like the frigate and cruiser lines.
Very angular, but that is to be expected given how much their shape points at the F-117 aircraft as an inspiration.

I was thinking F-22.

It isn't about aerodynamics so much as not spinning like a figure skater everytime the engines are fired.
