Schere, darling, I must confess I became concerned matters might have gotten a bit out of hand when you began examining the efficiency of tag and release garbage collection paradigms in the context of exothermal base seven mysticism. I mean, really, sweetie... should I send out another spa? Or perhaps another Ealurian foot masseur? Oh, that must be it! What was I thinking!?

You should have one for each foot!

Perhaps we should send a couple for Pieter as well. There's nothing quite like getting an Ealurian foot massage under a shady tree reading a nice book on low hanging fruit!

I had no idea that the Ealurian's had a special type of foot massage. Now I'm curious. It does sound like a wonderful way to study, though.

For the first time since I started the conversation, he looks me dead in the eye. In his gaze are steel jackhammers, quiet vengeance, a hundred thousand orbital bombs frozen in still life.

Do take care of yourself, Pieter.

Space shall likely still be here when you return, and I am sure most of us will attempt to to the same.

Ealurians are on the feet all day and have developed very strong hands. Turns out, few things feel better on feet than strong hands!

Two Ealurian foot... therapists (they do prefer to be called therapists, really) en route!

I'm still gonna kick down your door for a visit when the mood strikes me, kirjuun. At this point, I've gotten too used to the company not to. Smile

When you need an extra brain abouts, kirjuun, I'll be here. Likely I'll be taking my leave from space for a time myself, so drop in when you can... And bring Oliver. Sroma keeps looking for him... And for Makers sake, visit Akio! My terminal has a perennial wall in front of it lately. P Best wishes, and warm thoughts.

Commendable to pursue further education, Mr. Tuulinen.

Godspeed and may you return to the stars with a greater appreciation for them.

Good luck with your studies and do enjoy your time out of the public spotlight, Pieter.

Let us hope that, if nothing else, your elective down-time allows some of those whose memories are short or whose opinions are suitably malleable to forget your complicity in the trade of 152 of your compatriots to Nation-loyal processing vats and the gloating nature of subsequent statements you made after choosing to continue the practice with humans of other ethnic backgrounds.

Don't be foolish.

Even if he stayed star-side, that will soon be forgotten in light of whatever new and wondrous scandal will scratch the surface of the near continuous ennui of the average capsuleer's mental state.

But if you're the type that enjoys letting the door hit someone in the ass when they leave the room, who am I to stop you? We each gain gratification from our lives in our own ways. I nearly had to check your standings to make sure you weren't blue to me..

You know... Usually I'm not this blunt... But go to hell.

If I can back off after a certain point, so can you.

Without people constantly harping on about it, I'm sure it'll soon be out of the forefront of public consciousness... Oh... wait... I see what you did there.

Some of us are so sharp, Mister Rundle, that we might just cut ourselves.

It's informative, Pieter, that what you frame as 'harping on about it' and an attempt to be 'sharp' I merely see as statement of fact supported by your own public announcements.

In any case I do wish you a productive time planet-side alongside a safe return to space when it suits you to and will elect to leave it there for now.

You know, Ollie, we're recruiting again. You don't have to stay in the Scope, forever, buried amongst the masses of the real psychopaths of New Eden.

You can build something wonderful.

Thank you for the offer, old friend. I'll add it to some of the other offers of employment I've received and consider it on its own merits in due course.

Tell me though - for all that you talk about building for them in the last three years, if you were to wander into an incursion zone would those you've pledged your support to in Nation proper recognize you as friend? Or lock you up as a foe?

I don't know. I don't wander into incursion zones while Nation is operating.

The exact same thing happens as would, and does happen, when I fly into a Caldari Navy military operation when I was in Placid.

They see a Capsuleer who is not part of their military who is tresspassing in a military operational area.

Really, Ollie. It's a well documented and incredibly often repeated statement that we are Nation loyalists and supporters. Though we often take orders from Nation we are not part of their military. In those cases where our presence is desired, Nation requests it and we are there. In cases where our presence is not desired, we are treated the same as any other Capsuleer. This is a security measure they take and the same is done by ever proper empire.

I will give you this, Miss Polehvia - at least you did not follow suit and take the tenuous position of feigning ignorance over the worth of either you or your fellow loyalists to Nation proper. That you can admit you function in the same manner as dutiful hounds at the beck and call of a master who can not recognize your obedience or unquestioning loyalty is a pleasant revelation.

I know. Weird, huh? Almost as if we admit we are Slaves to His Vision or something. We should make a public note about that. Maybe list it in a title.

Tuulinen, if you need help with shield plasma transfer arrays just let me know. Much else and it's out of my sphere of expertise.
