Why does the Battleship look so much like a carrier? I like the design but my first thought upon seeing it was a mini-Nyx

Love the design look of the frig and cruiser, not a big fan of the battleship. I'm not sure if it's the flat look just stops looking good to me when they ship gets that wide. Or if my mind keeps going "Looks more like a carrier than a BS."

Either way it's nice to see something new that looks new even if it's not likely to be much use to me generally.

These things better be slow as ****, or this is going to bring a whole new realm of kiting.

But they look great, finally a missile oriented pirate faction.

Additional info: Apparently the info given says they are "almost as fast as Angels". Oh, this is going to be pretty evil at the cruiser level.

The Moa literally went from being the strangest-looking ship in the game to being one of the coolest-looking ones I've ever seen, somehow without failing to look like the Moa still! It's going to be awesome with the moving parts, too Big smile

And the Typhoon is a miniature Hel now- that's amazing too Big smile

And hey, Mordus have black, SOE have white- I'm loving the contrast here and everything about these ships!

Barghest Battleship Stingray.

Orthus Cruiser Some sort of contemporary hoovercraftthingy.

Garmur Frigate A mechanical lobster thingy with feelers.


They all look pretty descent. The new Moa with the bird of prey look - not in Star Trek Klingons style, but like a real predatory bird with the curved beak and stuff - and the new Condor however were even better looking. They were absolutely gorgeous.
