To be honest, i think the major point to balance power projecting is time not the amount of ships.

Imagine, ships with small mass bridge faster then heavy ships, but everyone has to activate bridge at the same time, so frigs, destis and cruiser would be deployed way before BC,BS or even other Capitals.

Sure it would harm smaller entities bit more due the fact you need 2 bridge for more offensive projection but overall it would decrease the overall deployment speed to a more "realistic" and reasonable factor.

And that hurts small groups more than large groups, so you have run into Malcanis' Law pretty much right out of the starting gate.

Now for the stupid newb question.

How long does a cyno need to stay up to be jumped/bridged to? Could't you just bypass the "cap" by bridging a bunch of cyno fit Ibis who all light up as soon as they land to make the real fleet jump to all those cynos?

Maybe you need more topes?
