Did CCP just can Dust 514 in favour of a better game?

Dust forums are up in arms about the Dust Keynote they feel they have been ignored in that keynote which included no new information on that game.

So I guess DUST 514 is a failed project?

Dust 514 didn't fail, it was just a proof of concept and it proved PC platform is superior for it.

Imma play me an EVE FPS on a platform that is actually suited for FPS: the PC.

all the rage...i can understand.

BUT

nerver forget that once they get it right on PC (Legion).....porting it back to PS4 won't be a big problem (read up on the hardware specifics to understand why)...

so yea, PS3 may be dead...but its also a big opportunity for CCP to go PC+Consoles (new ones)


after all, it failed on PS3 (low numbers, low turnover), this is the ONLY right desicion to make, although painfull for PS3-only gamers (but...won't they update to PS4 anyways?)
