Edit:

It imports the battleclinic loadouts just fine. It's only the fits I have in Eve that aren't importing correctly.


This is also happening if you load previously saved T3 fits via XML in EFT. Only the rigs are imported.

Ok, at least I'm not the only one having import issues.. Hopefully this can be resolved easily..

Make sure you have latest EFT version. Check if the xml file wasn't damaged (try to import it in EVE). If those are not the case upload xml file somewhere (or send it to the mail in the first post).

And btw, which ship it was? I just realised that recently introduced reskinned ship versions will fail to import probably.

You can verify the MD5 checksum directly on the evefiles site (since it lists md5 for each binary file), or you can use Microsoft's "fciv" tool available here: http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=11533

I know Linux users already have md5 tools available by default, and I think Mac users have as well (never owned a Mac, so I really don't know).

I checked version (2.19.1 - 2.22.22) - it doesn't work.

Is there a trick to get the 'Skills Needed' mouseover to work?

Version 2.22.2 - it will show red but hover and left click don't show any detail. I have tried closing all windows and restarting EFT.

Few bugs I've found in the latest version:

When importing copy/pasted fits, if there's not a new line at the end of the clipboard string, the last module will not be imported. This was not present in previous versions of EFT (though I don't remember if it cropped up in 2.22.2 or the one before that).

When exporting to XML, it seems that occasionally it doesn't format the XML properly. Usually, it's missing the closing "/fittings" tag, but sometimes it's both the "/fittings" and the "/fitting" tag, or missing the opening "fittings" tag.

This has honestly been going on for about as long as I've used EFT, and I've never really figured out a trigger for it. It seems to usually happen when I write to an already existing file with a new (or overwriting) fit, but occasionally it happens even when creating a new file.

Projected effects update instantly when either ship (the projecting or the projected on) has a pilot change, but changes to the projecting ship's module overheat status, fleet boosts, or module scripts seem to only propagate to the projected-on ship's stats once you uncheck or check a module in the "Projected Effects" block.

Occasionally when deleting items from a long list of projected effects, when the scroll bar on the second disappears, so do all of the items from the display. They are still there, and mousing over them or using the arrow keys to selected them makes them reappear, but visual artifacts remain.
