Fanfest 2014 is here! The annual epic celebration of the EVE Universe, players and devs!

Follow all the action, news, presentations and dev talk live on EVE TV! We also have available an HD version of the EVE TV stream.

Why are all videos on the CCP twitch channel behind a pay wall? I get why the current fanfest ones are, but why are the old ones too?

Looking forward to the day's keynote. Watched most of Day 1, it was pretty good, and now I'm excited to see what the new ships being revealed today are :D

That is something which I am going to ask the EVE TV crew. As far as I know, the recordings of the Fanfest presentations will be published on YouTube (for free of course) - hopefully sooner than later, but the EVE TV crew already works 15 hour shifts to get you a Fanfest broadcast as good as possible.

I'm pretty sure that your ability to manage videos on twitch is limited. I don't think you can set settings per video, but per account.

its called milking the customer. duh wake up they're doing everything they can in order to bring in money. might as well start a CCP kickstarter program at this point.

out of all "fan fest" events.. im calling this one like I see.. a very weak presentation and not even worth flying up there.. lol I'll stick to E3 and the major big boys instead of CCP.

Honestly we already subscribe and you want more money so I can differentiate between the ass backwards pixelated medium quality stream and high quality stream. What next you are gonna start charging for each post we make? FFS You saved $$ by cancelling WoD stop shitting up my opinion off CCP any further.

So no-one outside HARPA auditorium saw the announcement trailer for the next expansion, because Twitch.tv stream glitched out. Please upload it to Youtube or put it on EVEONLINE.com.

Would it kill you guys to hire a real video producer/director to shoot fanfest? Practicing your scripted lines will reduce all your basic public speaking errors, but only an experienced director can fix your video issues. Someone has to say it... please stop making our eyes and ears bleed. If you doubt what I say, please refer to the twitch.tv/ccp chat channel comments.

I feel sorry for the pure Dust players who came to Fanfest. There was 0 Dust stuff in the Dust Keynote stuff at all, except for CCP saying "Thanks for all the Fish", PC Masterrace.

Today I was really happy because the EvE keynote was coming. But I remembered that i was going to a dinner with some friends so I was "well it's ok, i'll just watch the keynote from the twitch archives".

Now I'm back from my dinner, I just went to twitch > CCP channel, videos > http://www.twitch.tv/ccp/c/4176890

And I just learned that if want to see the keynote I have to subscribe for 20$.

I don't think this is OK. I'm gladly paying for the game subcription and I'd even gladly pay if your expansions were not free. But I'm not gonna throw 20$ to access video content on which I have no idea if it is any good.

I guess next time I won't go to dinner, or maybe I'll just not get excited about the keynote and ignore it completly. =/
