Clearly patch notes are optional. Otherwise it might indicate they know what they are doing.

-added Bacon.

-added more Bacon.

-added Bacon to CQ.

-added Bacon as a minable ore in belts.

-added Aurora Baconae doomsday weapon.

-added Bacon to harvestable PI materials on temperate planets.

Fixes

-fixed Bacon texture issue when displaying in CQ.

-fixed Angelic Choir music when seeing Bacon.

-fixed glorious 'Graygor-like' heavenly light shimmer when seeing Bacon.

-fixed indigestion issues when eating too much Bacon.

Since the cessation of their usefulness is imminent, may I appropriate your belongings?

It's back-end stuff and behind-the-scenes optimization -- lots stuff that's of little interest to players (and probably wouldn't make much sense to someone that's not familiar with EVE's code).

Every major patch release has 1-3 followup patches that get no patch notes, because they are just fixing the things the other patch broke on TQ. They don't have patch notes because they don't really do anything for 90%+ of players.
