2 of the "new" ships are confirmed as tournament ships: Chameleon and Whiptail. The rest are to be announced tomorrow at the keynote. Edit, Whiptail - sorry.

I am currently away, traveling through time and will be returning last week.

Well... that's the kind of **** I have come to expect from CCP. 6 new ships. 2 of which will never be seen outside a hangar, but hey they're new so it counts. Oh well, now it's just left to see how bad off the Mordu's ships will be.

With all of the attention that's been given to the Faction ships I think that right now is the best time for them to conceptualize a new line. Most of the changes coming to the other lines are pretty exciting and I'm optimistic that the Mordu's will be too.

I would be, except CCP has a history of falling on their asses when it comes to making competitive missile ships.

I'm disappointed that they're rolling the tournament ships into Summer, that's a pretty easy way out, but oh well.

And I'm definitely not opposed to the idea of a new indy ship either, a new indy is actually near the top of ships I want to see in Eve. Albeit after a Tier 3 BC that can use Large Missiles, but I don't think that will ever happen.

After balancing stream now im 100% sure it's:

  • 2 tournament ships
  • 1 = t2 venture
  • 3 = mordus ships (frigate, cruiser, BS)

Almost certainly. There was a brief flash (?) of one of the ships - kind of a blackish mottled hull, but I didn't get a good look at it.

I didn't get a good look at 2 of the 3, but the one with the numbers on the hull is from the new Prospect hull (mining frigate)

i believe i was the first to get these 3 and am feeling pretty chuffed atm.

the teasers looked like they could be a couple of mordu's hulls. but we'll see.

It's hard to get excited about a few tournament ships that only a handful of elite players will ever own and will almost certainly be relegated to the tournament itself (I was engaged and killed by a Chremoas, but that's the exception rather than the rule). If they want to make tournament ships more exciting, CCP should offer these for sale through the NEX store after the subsequent tournament, ie: winners of the AT XI have a full year (including AT XII) to have exclusive use of the Chremoas and Moracha - after which point anyone can buy them. So they can use them, abuse them or gouge for them - but only for a year.

They are still new ships, they are still in the game, and they are still flown by players. Fozzie said they were low impact for most players. its kinda ur own fault. And yeah, ppl do get excited about tourny ships, the entire room cheered for god sake.

offering those ships through the nex store is Pay2win. dont be surprised if that never happens.

It's an alliance tournament, so it and the ships are already Pay2win. Or do you think the lowliest alliance even has a chance of winning against all the past tournament and officer-blinged ships...

You have clearly never read the AT rules. You should read them this year.

If you don't follow the rules, neither will I.

ok, u should read the alliance tournament rules if u think everything is officer blinged.

and yeah upsets in the tournaments are a thing. ive been watching AT's for longer than ive been playing the game.

Maybe you should re-read and familiarize yourself with them again, because what I indicated is entirely accurate (in addition to being able to utilize unique or extremely limited hulls, such as past tournament ships).
• All drones are allowed, including Logistics drones and Augmented drones.
• Flagships are able to fit faction, officer, cosmos, and Deadspace versions of the following modules, ignoring tournament rules to the contrary

Basically this. My corpmates and I concluded this earlier this week after some discussion. Though one of them stubbornly insists they should be Templis Dragonaur pirate faction ships not Mordus Legion. The Alliance tournament ships are all but confirmed and since the Prospect (T2 Venture) has an in game BP and model it is all but confirmed as well. The Mordus ships would be the missile based Cal/Min pirate faction that CCP has been wanting for awhile. So indeed this would seem to be the case.

Fozzie and Rise confirmed the AT ships on the fanfest stream earlier today.

Fozzie confirmed the venture in a post a few days ago, and also showed a small pic of a small part of the Prospect as a teaser for one of the reveals tomorrow.

There are placeholders for these ships in the game files already.

yeah...and?

its not just the big names that bring augmented drones, and its not just the big names that bring officer fit flag ships.

Ehem, according to the Mittani post and the way it was worded, it was stated that the "New ships will be revealed tomorrow" (paraphrasing of course), and that "He decided to talk about the tourney ships INSTEAD", so logically that means that the AT ships are indeed NOT part of the new ones

O tempora o mores!
