Taranis engages my breacher outside of station. I am certain he was licking his lips in anticipation. He dies horridly. Afterwords, he says 'I haven't logged on in 4 years and I get killed by a ******* breacher!?! That's what I get." I was kind enough to tell him of the balance passes and buffs and the fact that I just happened to have nova loaded. I hope it made him feel better, but I am not sure it did. Regardless - I would not have gotten this fight in an AF.

And the breacher is pretty baller right now. I'm not ready to say it is OP, but I've gone 3-1 in them so far. Killed crow, taranis, comet. Lost to comet who would have died if I have nova loaded or I hadn't been cheap and used navy cap boosters like I should have. I did get lucky in a couple of those fights, though (newer player, returning vet, and crow who was in web and scram range). We will see. Unlike the rail Incursus, you are hosed if you are pointed past ~15k, but otherwise it seems just as good plus you are faster and have selectable damage...

ok thanks for info about breachers.....

If no one can give af tips can some one at least address frigate vs cruiser strategy? Do i go for drones first then try to get under guns? I realize it is all situational by my life seems.more and more to be putting me into brawler frigate vs cruiser situations.

Vexors eat frigates alive. AFs too. Don't fight them solo in a frigate unless the guy is a noob. You probably should not mess with arbitrators either. Thorax is close - tracking bonus and a good pilot or dual webs (or neut drones!) will hose you. Caracal and Bellicose too if it is RLML fit. Anything else is worth a shot. Get under their guns, kill drones, then kill cruiser. Ships with a utility high - like rupture or stabber, might have a neut, so watch animations and gtfo if you see one. I don't fly Wolfs or Jags, but a Jag can fit a mean passive shield tank and has capless weapons, so you might be able to fight under neuts for a while. Not sure.

And seriously, you will probably never see neut drones again, so don't sweat that. (Though because of your story, I will be carrying a flight in all of my Vexors from now on!)

Thanks mate. I wouldnt put toonmuch faith in what I say I am pretty nub but those ev drones ate up cap pretty fast.

you could try using a nos, i use one in most of my assault frigs with an armor repper and has worked wonders against big ships
