Just an aside, IIRC they are adding a word filter in the summer expansion as part of the 'little things' So people who are easily offended can set there own filter.

Actually, no. It's only offensive when you choose to take offense. I call people several racial slurs and I get called back with others. And between that group of "hateful racist bastards", I wouldn't trade them for anything. Those guys are my bros forever. EDIT: after actually reading some of the posts in this thread the world is right again and a warm feeling glows in my chest. there are, after all, still normal people in this world, and i am not alone. sometimes EVE makes me feel so content.

OP, I agree.

Slurs are acceptable nowhere in EVE, these people are a disgrace. As for the cursing, let the 13 year olds think they're cool. If they survive this game long enough to be an "adult", they'll just get laughed out due to their outstandingly immature name.

And yes, EVE has a double standard on immaturity lol
