Damn, this is a shame. Someone should really get ontop of developing a new look for Minmatar. Wouldnt want you to fly something that isnt completely visually appealing to you persoanally.

Rust is what Minmatar does well. but if you wait a bit I think CCP might come out with a paint scheme you could use to cover it.. a sort of rustoleum paint coat.

ehh but Caldari is hyper-capitalistic, they have nice things and more militaristic. Minms are/were a broken slave race, only lucked out in gaining freedom when the Jove went to war with the Amarr. I think the ships better reflect that, sort of bent and hammered into something that gets off the ground, but functional. Look at the old models compared to the new models, it's as if they hare slowly rising from the ashes and transforming into something more refined. ...though I like the old textures a little better.

For an April Fools prank, I'd like to see CCP replace the colour palette for minmatar models to Hot Pink, Lime Green and Fluorescent Orange.

Amarr ships could be done in MLP colours.
Gallente could have Hello Kitty
Caldari could have the colour palette of Halliburton's logo.

I don't mind the rust and I love the silhouette of some of the Minmatar ships but the Fleet Issue and Boundless Creation space camo puts me in a rage. A serious rage.

Like if I had tickets to Fanfest the art department would have to watch their backs kind of rage.

Most of the 'panels' are semi transparent which doesn't make for a very good light collector. I personally think the 'panels' are radiators for heat dissapation. Explains the lines running through them.
