Specialized large Ore Hauler: ORE Freighter? I like this Idea, But would be pleasantly shocked if CCP did this.

T3 Orca when you don't have a T2 Orca?: Ore Compression (In some way balanced to not negate the benefits of a POS or Rorqual.)

T3 Mining barge: While being a really exciting idea, I really doubt we will ever see this.

A mining ship which can actually fight to protect itself would be nice.

Not that I would ever mine myself, but it would make attempts at miner ganking more interesting.

Some years ago I mined ice for a couple of days, the experience has left scars on my Eve psyche.

If these ships are all mining/industry additions this is going to be the most boring expansion in EVE history.

I am currently away, traveling through time and will be returning last week.

Agreed. Very much agreed. Although I wouldn't mind having a mid-sized hauler added to the ORE lineup or something.

These are things that can also be added at anytime... Why we need to wait 6+ months for any kind of *substantial* content expansion is completely beyond me. 3-6 months for a rebalancing effort that generally falls flat is ridonkulous...

Firstly, the video that I watched showed that 6 wasn't a hard limit. There could very well be 7 ships. Or 5.
That being said, a T2 Venture is probably a good thing.
Mordu's Legion ships might be worth the Tritanium that they're made of if CCP doesn't decide to completely screw them over for being missile primary.
That accounts for 4 ships, which would leave plenty of room for mid-sized hauler to complement the indy changes.
So, there could very well be a 7th ship and if there is then that is the real mystery.

Q-ship is an armed merchant vessel designed to lure and then defeat enemy vessels (submarines and so forth) that are targeting shipping.

I would not mind having merchant carriers and/or CAM ships either. I am not interested capital ships, but I would like to tinker with fighters sometimes. I am certain that various groups would find lot of use for them.

If 2 of the "new" ships are tournament ships, I will be severely disappointed in CCP. Such a ****** thing to do to us regular pilots...
