So you can sneak in and pop some random folks. BEEP has done that a few times. If you could get a few thousand pilots that are solid 100% committed with deep pockets and organized you might even get noticed. But the sad reality is they would probably love the distraction.

It will really take most of the best players together and committed to the task to ever really make a dent on the goons.

hiseccers won't engage in a "burn VFK" event because it doesn't have good isk/hr

I think most of the point to Burn Jita is to make you try exactly this, get dunked but have fun in the process.

Your best bet... Find at least 20K angry aggressive & organized players who don't speak any known language (preferably who also happen to have a large capital fleet that no one knows about) and somehow convince them to follow you on your mad crusade.

There were those rumors running about a while back that Goonswarm was actually a CIA front (got to love Fox News...) - you might be able to convince Kim Jong-un to get 30 thousand or so of his people to play EVE... I think your odds of that are a LOT better than organizing a high-sec assault force.

The goons are fundamentally designed as an organization in such a way that any grieving tactics play into their hands. They are grievers. Grieving goons is simply validation for them. Scam or rob them. That's your only real option.

You might be onto something there. Someone get Dennis Rodman on the bat-phone, STAT! He'll carry the secret message to Kim Jong-un on his next visit to serenade the beloved leader, get 80k screaming North Korean women opening up trial accounts to get the job done. Of course... there probably aren't even 300 computers in the country, let alone anything to plug them into... but I suppose they could share.

I'm in it for the money

I dont want to grief them. I just want to blow them up. Over and over again. That's all. Big smile

Why them in particular? Because if you just want to blow people up, I suggest becoming a suicide ganker.

Hence the "Herding Cats" remark, because that's what its like trying to organize any kind of highsec invasion of ..well..pretty much anywhere. The only person to successfully hellcamp Goonspace was Harry Forever, you may want to ask him for advice and/or help.

Since no-one seems capable of organising a Burn Goons event, shall we ask them to do it for us? We can just show up In VFK with nibbles and booze.

that and the fact that they don't really have a reason to attempt a burn vfk event.

That depends on if you listen to the forums, or mention Goons in local. For all the talk, seems like there'd be plenty of reason.

if you don't like mosquitos it doesn't make you go to the forest/swamp and burn them. You just use protection and move on.

The same is about goons: you use protection and never care about them

Sometimes I fantasise about highsec "rising-up" against nullsec. Thousands upon thousands of miners, mission-runners, traders, and those guys who spend all day sat on Jita 4-4 undock, all heading into the unknown together to completely stomp everything that stands in their way, in an incredible show of camaraderie. Then I snap back to reality, knowing that it will never happen, and it's not because highsec players are hard to organise, it's that they are impossible to organise.

is that why we see a "hisec must rise against the goons" thread on GD every couple of weeks?
