Isn't all of space Goon Space?

On a more serious note, there have been several attempts to burn goon space. So far they all seem to have failed, but one day some group might succeed. No empire lasts forever.

How many Goon alts are in Hi-sec? Coordinating an attack on Goon space would be pointless becuase they would be there waiting in numbers.

There lies the flaw in the game.

Goon space is where you find the goons

This is going to present a problem.. because most highsec invasion plans of VFK hinge on advancing through the back door.

I tried but Durin's Day came and went and I didn't find out where the keyhole is.

There are two ways to **** in goon's cheerios without organizing huge fleets.

A.) AFK cloak in their ratting systems and renter systems. (Or, god forbid, decloak and gank stupid ratters, keep a batphone to PL/PASTA and a cyno handy)

B.) Dec their poco corps and roll around reinforcing poco's and POS's

Join Flying Dangerous! We frequently go in to CFC space with ceptors and kill their AFK ishtars. The tears are especially awesome. Post patch when they start ratting in carriers more we plan to be there killing those too. Join FD 4 PvP channel in game and ask to speak to a recruiter today!

What flaw? That smart gameplay triumphs over stupid gameplay? That numbers and organization triumph over disorganization?

Dear Hisec: please actually do this, but give me at least a day's notice to get a clone back to Deklein for the fun.

You don't have a clone in Deklein?

I haven't flown with GSF in like 2 years and I still have a VFK clone I occasionally jump to just to troll locals.

I live in Syndicate. I don't rat anymore and there's nobody worth fighting in the deep blue sea so vOv. I can always podjump back if something actually happens there.

But more seriously, even if you had that many Fedo's, I think highsec lacks the equipment to do any real damage. An army of RvB frigs, random mission runner CNR's, about the only logistics coming from courier contracts, I just don't see it happening anytime soon... Straight

You already posted a goon thread with this alt.

Can't goons find a different alt to post about themselves?

It's not a fault of the game.

Even without goon alts in hisec, there is no way an event like what you're talking about could be done secretly. The CFC wouldn't need alts to find out about it, as it would be written about in blogs, forums and websites.

There is no possible way that the hisec population could pull off something like what you're suggesting. There, I said it. Now, prove me wrong.

I do not like the men on this spaceship. They are uncouth and fail to appreciate my better qualities. I have something of value to contribute to this mission if only they would realize it. - Bill Frug

To the OP. Goons have been the target of just about everything...even their own scams and espionage, and yet they thrive. They are excellent players and they have my utmost respect.

Its not the logistics that are beyond the average hisec capsuleer. Working together. Risking spaceship loss. Not mining. Not shooting red crosses. These are the things beyond the average hisec capsuleer.

I do think the average high sec player is miss represented by most of the high sec forum posters....but I could be wrong. I know that I am currently unable to dedicate myself to even a medium sized group due to RL constraints, so I get to enjoy EvE on a more singular basis and mostly in high sec with the occasional forays into low sec. I like the risk this game proivides, but I love the freredom of the game which allows players like me to fully enjoy the cat and mouse aspect as pretty much full time mice Bear

he didn't say high sec invasion, he said invasion by average and unorganized players. HTF do you plan an event without organizing? Stupid question when you think about it. I call troll, trying to insult and inflame.

Sometimes I fantasise about highsec "rising-up" against nullsec. Thousands upon thousands of miners, mission-runners, traders, and those guys who spend all day sat on Jita 4-4 undock, all heading into the unknown together to completely stomp everything that stands in their way, in an incredible show of camaraderie. Then I snap back to reality, knowing that it will never happen, and it's not because highsec players are hard to organise, it's that they are impossible to organise.

You see, your average highsec player is very selfish, this game is all about them and maybe whatever little corp they're a part of, they're the "hero" in this game. They have no sense of greater community towards the rest of highsec, all other highsec dwellers are their competition, and the nullsec entities aren't even on their radar.

Only those personally affected by nullsec groups (by being ganked, or wardecced, or whatever) will consider doing something about it, but when they try to get players together to get some revenge, they are met with apathy. "I wasn't affected by Burn Jita at all, why should I come with you? I'll just carry on mining." The players then fall back into their usual routine of earning that next billion ISK, or getting that next skill, because perhaps after they've achieved that, they'll show everyone who's boss!

meh... there have been a number of interesting things to come out of and from around highsec over the years. It's just seems like when something really good starts making real momentum, it ends quickly in some stupid little drama fight between the different groups (eg bombers bar etc).
