Buffer tanked proteus' are stationary objects. Comparatively speaking.

Tell me again about how every playstyle you dont engage in "doesn't require any effort" and everyone who does it needs to die in a fire. Be sure to mention about how you tried it once but it was too easy/boring/ethnic-homophobic slur.

Please post this fit good sir. Ive never sat in a proteus, but it is training now. This sounds like I shant ever need to train anything else again.

The real question is, why use a rail Proteus when you can use a rail Tengu?

Last I EFT'd it, rail Tengu damage was pretty awful. Granted, it's been at least 6 months (if not longer) since I messed with a rail Tengu fit in EFT to see if it was even worth buying the sub and fittings.

That part I figured. I think there might be a dash of bullshit too.

Well other than the 700 DPS to 60K, its more like 30-40, thats mostly on the money, in fact the EHP is on the low side, you can easily pull 300K with links and slaves.

64,8k opti 22,5k falloff with ~ 500 dps
700 dps @ ~ 40-45k then it will decrease, should have cecked the absolutely correct numbers first, right ? ;)

however true sansha warp disruptor + loki boosts => 55,9k pointrange

But yes of course with at least skirmish links, otherwise its imposible, however a proteus allready reaches 1,2k ms with 1 1600m plate when using MWD, railproteus deal ~ 700+ dps with drones however they only have 4 midslots

"Cheap" basicfit, of course you can spend more money on it ;) or switch the damp with tracking computers to get your 700 dps even at 50k ;)

Rail Proteus works fine in pvp, you just have to adjust to the 'not in everyones face' style. Let HAM Legions do the short range work, they have better dps projection anyway. Rail Proteus sit twenty out and pick things apart.

Can you hear them? They are calling to us. It is beautiful. http://thegreattichim.wordpress.com/
