CCP, When Can I Pay For Remap of Skills

This isn't WoW. There are no ultimate character builds. No need to remap skills when you can just train more.

I usally write one of these and then change it a month later when I reread it and decide it sounds stupid.

It would be a great feature if you could delete skills with a 20-25% percent refund of the used skillpoints. That way people would think twice before they do it and it would also benefit the game. If there are less allrounders in the game someone else will step up and fill the hole.

A full refund will surely kill this game.

1. Plex isk, or other for a skill remap.

2. Plex isk or other for an attribute remap.

3. No remaps at all. CCP loses out. Players are restricted to what they can do.

At least this is what I know. I know there are players out there with a dark understanding of the mentality and system of Eve Online and how this would be detrimental to the whole feel of it, mentality, whatever. But this is still a video game, and I would like to see some maneuverability within accounts as to what you can train quickly and have the ability to do without having to go through the trouble of selling, or buying an account as it seems is suggested.

I would also like to see the ability to have name changes as the account name one makes when they are 16 might not have the same feel as when they are 22 years of age.

But whatever, what do I know? Besides the fact that it's what you grew up into: could someone explain to me why the system is awesome as it is?

Not a fan of plex for remaps because it reeks of "cash for SP", I would however pay good money to be able to change race/bloodline on some of my chars.

Think before you make decisions. They should last for the entire life of your character.

The day CCP start taking $$$ to remap skills or for skillpoints is the day Eve starts dying.

When you pay in PLEX it doesn't mean more money for CCP(they already got the money for all plexes), only increase in PLEX demand that is high enough already

Serious question,

How is taking time that I paid for in EVE but messed up by accidentally training a wrong skill to re-alocate into something else game breaking?

I'm not asking for free skill points, I'm asking for points which I've already "paid for" to be moved somewhere else and I'm willing to pay RL money to do this. I seriously don't understand how this would "break" EVE.

How would CCP differentiate between someone who "accidentally trained a wrong skill" and someone who made very good use (and mountains of ISK) out of one set of skills, and now wants to switch those skill into PVP skills?????

That's besides the point, I still don't get how taking time (skillpoints) which are already paid for and putting them somewhere else is game breaking.

My character has 110 million skillpoints. I have easily over 20m which I do_not_use that would better be allocated elsewhere. Those 20m skillpoints are time which has already been paid for over the course of months of training. I'm not asking for a refund in this time, nor am I asking for any advantage over anyone else. Quite the contrary, I'm asking that if I asked to move 20m skill points elsewhere, I'd be willing to pay CCP the value of that time to allocate elsewhere. In other words, I'm paying more and increasing the value of this character.

It's not like if I moved those points elsewhere that somehow I've become anymore awesome, I've just become more efficient in my skill point allocations.

The time is already invested into the character. I'm not asking for "free time". Shoot, I'd even be willing to take an SP penalty to re-allocate some of my skills. This would actually make me less awesome because I would have less SP after a re-allocation.
