Update

I noticed that the vast majority of us were running 10.7.5, so I updated to mavericks and now the freeze has gone and EVE works normally.

Not for one minute saying that this will fix everyone's undock/freeze issue, but it foxed mine.

Sorry to pile on, but I'm also crashing at undock. My alt is active in station. But as soon as I tried to undock, I froze up and had t ocrash close and reboot the system. Now I'm technically stuck in space.

I'm operating Mac OS X Client

I get the following error -

Unhandled page fault on read access to 0x0000001d at address 0x75a05d5c. Do you wish to debug it?

Mac OS X 10.7.5
2.4 ghz
8 gig ram

I can NOT upgrade to Mavericks at this time as I have other software I need for my day job which is not yet mavericks compatible.

having the same crash on undock and error as listed above… my alt hauler is floating in space somewhere.

15-inch, Early 2011 Mac Book Pro
8 gig Ram
Os X 10.7.5
AMD Radeon HD 6750M 1 gig VRAM

i have been holding off on Mavericks as i have never had any really issues with Eve, today with the patch, that all changed. i noticed that we all in this thread are running Lion - coincidence?

is anyone having this issue on Mavericks? or is everyone installing a Bootcamp partition?

I am experiencing this undock problem on my MAC OS X as well. Does anyone have any troubling shooting solutions they could run by me? I really want to fix this pesky problem and start playing EVE again. This undock error is extremely frustrating especially after deleting and reinstalling EVE online twice in hopes of finding a solution. Someone please help! -Jordan

CCP is very aware of this issue and is working on a fix according to the main feedback thread. It is also plaguing Windows clients, though they're apparently freezing up in station, on undock, and on re-dock. FOr my part I have an alternate windows machine that worked just fine for re-docking but it's far from my main computer.

CCP did post that they're working on a fix and hope to have it out as soon as tomorrow.

Hi,

to make it clear for me.

My System with the Problem is at 10.7.5. (Mac Pro).

i cannot upgrade to mavericks because it is not supported by apple because of 32 bit bios.

CCP statet that lion (10.7.5) will be minimum Release later this year.....

The only resolution is to upgrade to mavericks or buy a windows pc.

^^^ ^^^ ^^^

I upgraded to mavericks as well and I achieved the same results. Took about 2 hours but totally worth the time since EVE works once again!!

We have found a bug which could explain these crashes. It is audio-related, and we hope to have a fix out on TQ asap. It might be worth trying to disable audio until then, as a workaround.

MacBook Pro 8,2 (2.2GHz i7/8GB RAM) with AMD Radeon HD 6750M, Mac OS X 10.7.5

As mentioned above, fine in station but GUI lockup as soon as in space. After a force-quit, logging in that character gain would instantly lockup the client since he was still in space...

Upgrade to Mac OS X 10.9.2 -- instant fix.

*BUT* many people won't be able to do this (32-bit restrictions) or won't have access or time (5GB download, about 13 hours on my [admittedly pants] home connection -- assuming my ISP doesn't time me out before then!), so a client patch would be a much better fix.

It is not working. I'm in space at the moment and I'm crashing on spawn after character creation. Audio is disabled.

Unhandled page fault on read access to 0x0000001d at address 0x76a05d5c.

after patch - still cannot logg into / redock my floating character.

still running 10.7.5 (sort of afraid of 10.9.2 due to horror stories i have read on the forums).

Cannot upgrade to 10.9.2 because my hardware is too old.

Same here, though I can log in. I just crash on spawn in space. But yeah I can't upgrade to 10.9. I have hardware and software thatis incompatible.
