Sorry to pile on, but I'm also crashing at undock. My alt is active in station. But as soon as I tried to undock, I froze up and had t ocrash close and reboot the system. Now I'm technically stuck in space.

I'm operating Mac OS X Client

I get the following error -

Unhandled page fault on read access to 0x0000001d at address 0x75a05d5c. Do you wish to debug it?

Windows 8.1 crashing while downloading the new patch. Says need a 6 meg patch but will not connect. Is the server down?

Because of the crash bug in the latest patch, CCP may have taken the 1.4 patch down. I'd check tomorrow after downtime....

Sound issue on Wormholes.

The wormhole hum lasts for aprox 20 secs and then stops.

Please fix.

Docking seems to be an issue. Running Windows 8.1 and two accounts at once.

Game crashes when docking, never had this problem before

Win 7 Premium Service pack 1 64 bits
Processor AMD Phenom II X4 3.40 GHz
Installed Physical Memory (RAM) 8,00 GB
Graphic card AMD Radeon HD 6970 2 Mo

Docking appears to work without crash with audio disabled

edit: no more crash even with audio back on now.

As some of you have noted, disabling the audio seems to resolve the crashes on docking/undocking.

We have found a bug which could explain these crashes and hope to have it out on TQ asap.

At this point it looks like a crash upon spawning in space. I just downloaded the new update after today's downtime on my mac OS X Client and I'm still crashing. I"m in space at the moment.

Have you tried disabling the audio? It would be useful information for us to know if you still have the issues with the audio disabled.

Disabling audio was no help either before or after today's patch.

To me, this is just a continuation of the bug created by Rubicon 1.3 as reported here.

Here is a summary of my circumstances since the last post in that thread:

After the cessation of WinXP support on 8 April I updated to Win7.

At the same time I had a new hard drive fitted and a fresh download of the EVE client.

When I logged in after these changes some of the shorter freezes and all of the longer ones displayed black screens. The longest freezes were when jumping/docking/undocking and often crashed the client, particularly when docking.

After Rubicon 1.4 the situation improved slightly - the freezes/black screens are less frequent but still occasionally crash the client.

Today's patch changed nothing.

It is now 7 weeks since I was last able to enjoy any meaningful game play.

I has the feeling that new patch turned off the option to choose between two grfx cards. This wasn't the case - it was a gfx driver issue.

Laptop Dell Insprion 15 model 7537 - make sure to use the driver provided by Dell (331.65). This works with EVE, the latest driver doesn't work too well with EVE.

I've downgraded the driver.

It took about 2 hours to download the patch using repair.exe, and that on high speed internet on a fairly new Win 7 64 bit w 8GB RAM.

Have to assume that it was the quantity of users downloading it.

Looking forward to the sound patch for the crashes.

After patch update on 29 April, the launcher now takes up to 01:30 minutes to actual show the login details and perform the client verification.

Other testing shows no degradation of internet speed, so I must suspect the launcher doing something to cause the delay.

I cant get the patch to download, it keeps hanging and then i get a small file full of script giving me 2 options one of which is run game..basically patch fails and i cant get into game now cause of this..thanks much

when i start game i get a verification error telling me download loaded but is corrupted
"The update was downloaded but it failed verification indicating that the file is corrupt. Would you like to download the file again?

You will not be able to enter the game until you download the update."


then it tells me to redownload..when i do...this happens

I also cannot get the game to download the newest patch. When I try to log in it just hangs there for about 5 min, then brings me to another log in screen where it attempts to download the patch again, fails and kicks me out. I try to run the repair program and that takes around a half hour to get through the first step and then seems to just hang when it gets to the next step.

Since the new patch, my AMD GPU drivers crashes randomly. What I see are verticle colored lines (for around 10s) then my screen is shifted to the right by ~20% of the total screen.

Had same issue , was launching eve from exe went to ccp folder and used launcher.
