I feel like I want to get into writing some short stories for Eve. Mind if I run a few ideas past you guys?

Troll Hard:

Clever forum troll Unsuccessful at Everything comes to the forums to spend the holiday with his friends. When he arrives in General Discussion, he meets other likeminded individuals. But when a group of Good Posters takes over General Discussion, and his friends are banned due to post flagging games, its up to Unsuccessful at Everything to wage a one man war against the interlopers, and save his friends from their white knighter grasps.

Top Troll:

UaE is a hot shot forum poster. When he and his buddies encounter a group of ISDs in General Discussion who clearly are able to outfly them, his wingman freaks out. UaE is able to calm his buddy down and they retreat to Out of Pod Experience, where his wingman quits the forums. UaE is moved into the Elite Forums School known as Top Troll. There he must battle the attitudes of other forum trolls and compete to be the best, while being constantly haunted by the quitting of his friend. Can this maverick find ‘that loving feelin’” and return to claim his rightful place in General Discussion?

Ice Field:

In the system of Ardallabier, Elsa has the ability to harvest ice from the fields, and her younger sister Anna loves to mine with her. When Anna begins to understand and live by the CODE, Elsa lashes out and boots her from corp. After some negotiation, Anna is allowed back. Elsa returns to the Ice Field and maintains her reclusive and indulgent ways. Anna meets a Knight of the New Order in local and she immediately falls in love with him and his cause, and decides to join them. But Elsa does not accept Anna’s new lifestyle and loses control of her emotions, littering Ardallabier local chat with obsenities, booting Anna out of corp again and placing a bounty on her. Elsa flees to Brapielle to continue her solitary anti-social life. Anna teams up with a CODE compliance officer named Kristoff, his trusty bumping Macheriel named Sven and with trojan horse Procurer pilot named Olaf to seek out Elsa. They find Elsa in her ice field and Elsa regales them all with tales of their mother’s bedroom exploits. Anna, still feeling nothing but love for Elsa, decides to make it her quest to bring Elsa into the loving embrace of the CODE. Can Anna warm the frozen heart of Elsa, and get her permitted in time? Or will Anna be forced to have her sisters name written in red pen?

(this one might actually need to become a musical featuring the mega-hits “Gank and Go” and “Would You Like To Buy A Permit?”.. lyrics coming soon)

Freighterganca:

During Burn Jita, Industrialists and freighter pilots who were fleeing the carnage decided to emigrate to Dodixie and Amarr, but first they had to get past the Perimeter gate known as Freighterganca. When ex-freighter pilot Rick comes into possession of 2 permits to get through, he plans on running some valuable goods to another hub with them. But when Rick’s ex-lover and former corpmate Ilsa logs on in Jita with her new CEO Laszlo, he finds they are being pursued by the Goons, and they need Rick’s permits to escape. Rick discovers that he still has feelings for Ilsa. Will he put aside his feelings and stick his neck out for Ilsa and Laszlo to help them escape the Perimeter gate?

What do you guys think? Do I have any winners in this list?

I guess a graphic scratch and sniff novel isn't completely out of the question.

One day Capsoolear was flying through the space when goons showed up and shot him! So he got into his ship and was shooting back with the lasers and they were exploding!

"You must stop shoot my ship goons!" Said capsoolear and then he turned on his microwarpdrive and flew away from them. Concord said he was the bravest pilot and that they were giving him a bigger boats and all of null sec.

And then Capsoolear flew up a wormhole and said I'll be back my people need me!

End act one.

I wish. When I actually apply myself to writing..it comes out horribly. Alas, I am a poor office worker...with a debatable muffin fetish.

Ok .. to meet the proper format as a Romance novel:

The "Knight of the New Order" must be generally regarded as an irredeemable bad guy that no-one likes who is initially nasty to her. He has a bad attitude and lives a dangerous almost suicidal lifestyle taking huge risks. However Anna realises he is just misunderstood and reacting against peoples prejudice against him and the New Order. Once he realises it is true love with Anna he gives up his dangerous lifestyle and transforms into Mr Perfect Husband.

That should work :D

So what does it matter what we think when even you have no confidence in your abilities as a writer?

Personally, I say just pick one and see where the journey takes you...
