Perhaps this might seem silly to some, but I find it a little annoying that there's no real cohesive use of decimals and separators for numbers in this game. You go from decimals using commas to decimals using periods, no separators to separators with commas, periods or space.

To give you some examples, here's a breakdown of a few windows I just checked quickly and what separator or lack thereof is used.

Character Sheet:
Uses the separator (space) in the skills tab.

Regional Market:
The "Details", "Groups", "My Orders" and "Settings" tabs use separators (space) and commas for decimals. But while the "Advanced sell" window uses mostly separators (space) and comma for decimals, the decimal point is a period for the broker's fee and sales tax values.

Corporation:
The "Home" and "Details" tab lacks any kind of separators for shares and uses a comma to show decimals. The "Alliances" and "Rankings" tab also lacks thousand separators for the member count.

Wallet:
All tabs use separators (space) and comma as decimals.

Contracts:
Mostly separators (space), but contract names (with the exception of the detailed contracts window that does have a space separator) have no separators for numbers. They all use comma as a decimal point.

Assets:
All tabs use separators (space) and comma as decimals.

Journal:
For the most part separators (space) are being used, except for the "Agents", "Loyalty Points" tab that doesn't use separators at all. They all use comma as a decimal point.

Notifications and Log:
Doesn't use separators at all for damage, neither does the on-screen damage notifications. For other notifications however, like "out of range" notifications, the range indicated does use separators (space).

ISIS:
Uses separators (space) and comma as decimals.

Compare Tool / Show Info:
Both these type of windows have a hilarious mix of no separators, separators (space) and commas and periods both being used as decimal points. Range for the most part isn't using separators while speed does. While most things use periods as decimal points, others like shield bonuses (the rep amount for medium drones which isn't a round number), volumes (unpackaged, packaged) and ship warp speeds are using commas.

New Industry UI:
Uses separators (periods) and a hilarious mix of commas and periods for decimals.

Just to name a few ;)

It would be nice if this could be unified so there's just one standard for this that is actually applies all over.

I can't get my font large enough in eve to really see a difference :(

I'd love the option to chose my own thousands separator and decimal point, but yes, making it at least be consistent across everything would be excellent!

I too second the ability to choose, since the nomenclature differs between regions.
