Hi,

I have a heat issue as well. I have set all graphic settings to the lowest possible level. It is not very pleasurable but the game runs at least. I stop the game every two or three hours for fear of damaging my Mac.

System:
Model Name: iMac (Mid 2010)
Model Identifier: iMac11,2
Processor Name: Intel Core i3
Processor Speed: 3,06 GHz
Memory: 4 GB

Chipset Model: ATI Radeon HD 4670
VRAM (Total): 256 MB

I know the computer is not very new and it was never meant to handle much graphics. But the entry specs seem quite high.

Download Fan Control. I've been using it on different Macs for as long as I've been playing EVE.

I had the same problem with my 2010 iMac. You HAVE to run the fans higher or you WILL burn out your video card.
You can also download the iStats software to set fan speeds and put internal temps up in your menu bar.

We do. If we had an actual Mac client instead of a Windows client running in a terrible emulation box, we wouldn't have these sort of problems.
