planning always takes more effort combined with logistics of making sure hundreds of players are kept shipped and ready.

If you can do better then let it be known otherwise keep your demeaning remarks to yourself. People take things at face value way to much.


This was my idea of a video that would be narrated like an R&K video.

Looking at the pics and videos here, there is little wonder my pc was crashing constantly in Jita... When the blob landed, my pc died...pretty much every time...

I really need a new PC...

If you didn't do it already, turn off "Show Brackets" in overview, it really helps reducing the load for some reason.

some people say that incursion fleets need heavy coordination and stuff... damage, logistics, target calling, etc...
using your logic video from 1-2 incursion anomaly would be as impressive as R&K "2 carriers killing supercarriers" (not sure if i remember how many ships did they kill in that video)?

On the other hand when i was building Outpost in 0.0 (IS-OBW system) i coordinated PI with my 9 alts, my friend used his 9 or even more alts for PI, we were running Rogue Drone anomalies to get enough minerals, other players helped us with shipping and building. I used huge spreadsheet to watch resource gathering.... Then came manufacturing stage....
Quite lot of coordination isn't it? Does it worth "R&K style video"?

IMHO R&K style is PvP combat operations with good planning and skill. They show what can be done with smaller fleets to bigger. It's very strict category

Yeah already done, but thanks.

Basically I play Eve on my toaster...

It's a 10 year old Pentium D with intergrated graphics that's never been updated... All settings on low and just locking a ship can freeze my pc hahaha

Currently in the middle of creating a new beast, but right now RL has somewhat found a way to hinder my wallet at every turn...

Anyway, so as not to derail, its nice to see so manny awesome pics. Eve in high quality graphics is very pretty...

I wasn't around for the first couple of these, but I can't help thinking about that scene in The Crow where they're talking about the fact that they have Devil's Night greeting cards.

Wasn't the first one of these an organic response to a gross misunderstanding by CCP about it's player base and what they would and would not tolerate? And now it's an annual event with pre-party festivities and PR blogs?

So edgy.

It is good to have substance to one's existence.  But in the absence of substance, one can do much yet with style.

It's not edgy, it's just a holiday.

There's definitely an undercurrent of dong-waving in the sense that we're rich and powerful enough to just throw ships at Jita and **** it up for a weekend without caring about the bill and nobody in hisec can stop us, but for us line members it's mostly just a fun weekend of blowing up expensive things piloted by stupid people.

Folk in hi-sec could stop you if, you know, they paid attention to the advance warnings about the event and did not pilot expensive ships in or near Jita for a few days.

It is the inability of hi-sec folk to take simple actions to save themselves that give credence to the jibes about how dumb hi-sec folk are.

There's none so dumb as those that will not think.
