I'm curious what the eve communities opinions are on how to counter said fleet.

Ship types, numbers, fleet compostion, etc.

Looking forward to your input.

Won't need that many considering the flimsy nature of the tier3's ..

Now if only CCP gave us the option to detonate bombs without launching them, that is to suicide with AoE effect and introduced a T2 bomb launcher with enough capacity to carry three (for even more AoE suicide fun).

Use a rifter with T1 small ACs, they can't hit it and their shittanks will die...

Well Sir...
All ya gotta do is dodge some big guns...

Improve Angular Velocity by doing BOTH of the following
  1. getting close
  2. being fast

footnote: being small helps

Good luck!

well with their tank this is what you do...

Hit them with a stick... any size should do one maybe two hits tops

although bombs do sound like a good idea or something fast and small

Oh, Do go on... no seriously ive got nothing better to do then listen to all the petty arguments and feeble trolling attempts...

The sad thing is i'm not sure if i'm telling the truth.

Basically anything that's faster or can shoot just as far as a 1400mm armed tornado can. In sniper setups, the tier 3 BC's are complete glass cannons. Even tanked they are pretty squishy. If you can shoot just as far, you'll win the gank/tank fight directly pretty much regardless of what ships you use. If you are faster, then you can simply duck under their guns and then they are defenseless.

The problem of course arises when you are neither faster nor have greater weapon range. A prime example would be some conventional AC nano or plate canes vs sniper tornado's. The tornado's may only have 16k ehp, but the canes will never land a hit on them.

Depend how those fleets are fitted to play, but usually shooting back on right range helps a lot.

well has some limited experience with them

1) kite mid range (800 ACS and Megapulse) - I would say well positioned bomber/bombs or properly tanked abadons or apocs (megapulse). Boosted SFI can rock too.

2) Snipers (arty or tachs) - probes + scram MWD smaller ships warpin or sniping tempests (with some tank) - pest can snipe nado (2 volleys), however nado cannot snipe pest

Well fited nado is not bad ship btw even for midrange kiting.

The tier 3 BC fits I have seen are all weak buffer tanks; you can make a Naga do 380DPS active tank for about a minute and a half, but that's it (at the risk of pushing out 680DPS only). Your problem is survivng their DPS long enough to knock them out, which of course means you need to land shots on them. They are all essentially either sniping glass cannons, or kiting MWD falloff ships.

Therefore, speedy low sig things like, say, a Vaga or Cynabal or even a Taranis will do well, to chase them down, get in close and wear them down with tiny little ant bites of DPS.

Though, 1280DPS Talos's with webs will make that a frightful proposition.

Yes .... and maybe no ... have to try it, but dessies are still very slow .... my nado is faster then my thrasher .... so if we do not consider some mixed gang with ewar setups I would be very careful. But will try it tonight with my corp buddy if he can melt me.
