So a seemingly overlooked change is the increase in link capacity. What I haven't been able to search for and find yet is whether I need to delete and rebuild my links to take advantage. IE, if I have links I previously upgraded in order to "downgrade" and get back some PG.

Thanks

The natural capacity has been upgraded x5. As far as I can remember you do actually need to delete the link as you can't downgrade. Annoying as you have to rebuild all the routes that used that link.

Yes, you do need to rebuild the links which were previously upgraded if you want to save CPU/PG space.

For example:
Old Link: 1000 m3
New Link: 5000 m3 (after patch)

Now, deleting that link and putting a fresh non-upgraded will be: 1250 m3.

The real hassle comes in all the links that may have used the upgraded for routing...Now you'll have to re-route them all again.

Confirming you need to delete the old links. Probably not worth the effort except for long links.

my setups only used 1 upgraded link per planet. I deleted and replaced them, and now I can run 7 processors 24/7 on all my extraction planets.
