implants are one of the major isk sinks, just as ships are one of the major materiel sinks - as such, you should never be able to recover an implant.
However, getting some salvage from the implants - that could perhaps be used to make player implants?

For posting an idea into F&I: come up with idea, try and think how people could abuse this, try to fix your idea - loop the process until you can't see how it could be abused, then post to the forums to let us figure out how to abuse it..... If your idea can be abused, it WILL be.

Just a thought for the necrophiliacs out there -

its been asked for before many times and I do think something should be allowed to be done with the corpses other than perforating them behind closed doors but implant recovery is not one of them. The implant market itself has dropped considerably compared to what it used to be and this idea would drop it even more so no thanks.

as with all the other posts asking for this, no, its a terrible idea.

why no?

well when you get podded the pod kills you a fraction of a second before that last hit cracks the pod. destroying everything and sending you back to your medical clone.

A funny story for you.

CCP in the long ago, intimated they might do something like this. One older uni member, being an enterprising type, started collecting corpses but kept his reasons kind of secret.

Over the course of the years he has accumulated more then 2 station containers full of corpses - and had one hell of a sick reputation with threats of "care to join the collection?" and such.

He's not the only one with huge stockpiles of corpses sitting around gathering dust...

Any idea what would happen to the implant market if they did implement this and all those with such collections suddenly cashed in? ...
