It's really cool that you are willing to link me a video to help me understand why you act that way, you think it's funny. Which it is.

I'd never seen that show before, I'm going to have to look up more of it.

Start hosting boardgame nights and ensure that a tea zealot is part of the group. You'll be drowning in the stuff they will start stocking your cupboards with to avoid whatever unworthy and heathen leaves you're obviously trying to poison and defile them with.

I think it's fair since I'm involved in this statement I should clarify my position, that it's not my intention to "own", it's merely my intention to justify my right, and everyone else's right who may choose to participate on these forums as long as they conduct themselves in a manner that follows the forum's rules, to exist.

Sometimes I observe that others might be attempting to make a competition out of expressing their opinions, which I might or might not arrive at the conclusion that it's OK to poke fun at the obsessive desire to be "right" some demonstrate by pretending to hold that same value myself.

My opinions might differ, but that's the thing about opinions, is everyone has their own, and the right to have them should be respected as long as they are done so within the confines of the rules. You may even disagree with them, which you're allowed to do considering the idea behind the forums is the communicating our thoughts regarding whatever subjects that get decided to be discussed, as long as you do it by the rules.

The majority of the conflicts I get involved in is when someone tells me I'm not "allowed" to hold a specific belief I state I have. That he or she is some how in a position to better dictate my beliefs, which I disagree with, and it's my opinion that I express when I state my disagreement. The correct identification of the accusation being leveraged as an opinion SHOULD NOT cause any emotional instability because the reality is, we're all suppose to respect each others opinions as long as they're within the rules.

Respect, not necessarily incorporate as our own. I may choose to believe that oranges are the best fruit, you may choose to believe bananas. You can express why you feel I should prefer bananas, but ultimately you have to respect that I choose to instead prefer oranges, because you would also demand that I respect your own personal choice.

If you fail to respect my right to hold my own beliefs, then I do not have to respect your right to believe what you feel is correct.

And I'm sorry if this explanation upsets you, but I'm not going to hold your own choice to handle the matter as my responsibility. You ultimately control you, and you're the person making the choice to create your motivation to initiate in this little, "competition" of YOURS.


*edit* Another clarification that while I do not intend to "own", i most certainly do.
