So I was spinning my ship in Jita earlier when I had an awesome idea ( even if I say so myself).....what if CCP made it possible for us to walk around in stations!! Genius, right? Just picture it....the possibilities.

Why do you think that this would be possible?

What evidence has ever been provided that WiS would let you walk into the private room of someone and kill them ?

Also forum trolls (sic) are unlikely to log into the game very often and/or care about dying in the actual game

I'm confused...didn't you ask me to list some of the possibilities? That's what I did. I didn't know I needed to provide evidence to any possibilities. Make your request rules clearer please, I've yet to inject the 'Mind Reading' skill book.

This is what these forums need, IMO.

More unique and original ideas with the intention of making EvE a better game.

+1 for your creativity OP, keep the good ideas coming.


Hopefully in a year we can look back upon this thread and realize it was the birthplace of stations people can walk around in.

I have an idea. It's called SiP that means "Swim in Pod". Of course if you get podded while in SiP mode you lose skill points depending on when you last updated your clone(Amount of skill points lost when you last updated your clone up to the time you get podded).

Post with your NPC alt main and not your main main alt!

A novel idea, but the technology required to accomplish this is decades away. We would need to construct a more viable method of transportation into space in order to sustain such large numbers of EVE players leaving the planet. Also, a suitable space station with decent internet access would need to be constructed at the expense of billions, and as CCP has recently cancelled WoD, I am not sure that their wallet is as yet up to the task for a project of this scale. Furthermore, most EVE players (most) have full-time jobs & commitments, and this would need to be taken into consideration when planning the logistics of shipping several thousand people into Earth orbit. For example, I would need to take time off of work & program my TV to record Masterchef. However, if we are being nit-picky here, we would also need artificial gravity to be able to "walk" in stations, thus requiring billions in research over the next few decades. Keep this one on ice though OP.
