Ever had a case of the goons? Pox are harmless by comparison.

The disease killed an estimated 400,000 Europeans per year during the closing years of the 18th century (including five reigning monarchs) - Epidemics and pandemics: their impacts on human history

As that is equivalent to killing, in real life, the entire population of EVE as well as the CSM (monarchs), if every alt was a real person and we all lived in Europe, I think it's safe to say that the pox is not harmless compared to any player organization ever, no matter how dire it's perceived reputation.

It's entirely possible EVE actually has millions of trial accounts activated per year, the majority of which do themselves in after reading his posts. Big smile
