You can just stay aligned if you rat in a super. It's not like the rats can tackle you, and you don't have to wait for your fighters to come back since they'll follow you in warp.

I'm not saying it's the smartest idea in the world, but it's probably not as awful as people make it out to be.

Well I'm a firm believer in everything stupidly imaginable having happened at least once, or if not soon to happen at the first opportunity available for it to happen. So yeah this - probably at least twice.

I'm in it for the money

I suspect that carrier ratting only happens deep in nullbear alliance space?

I can't imagine anyone doing it in NPC null and lasting very long at all.

I don't get why everyone is against carrier ratting. It provides great content for everybody else.

That's nothing, people used to warp titans into anomalies at 100km and clear them while pulling ridiculous ticks. Then titan tracking got nerfed.

My plan is to get a ratting super and to produce a hilarious lossmail with it. At that point I have won EVE.

Not sure if ratting in a carrier is as safe as it used to be since the intie buff/warp changes.

You do not warp a carrier out of anom when non-blue enter system. You jump it out. Just keep cap up, which is not an issue.

lol, I was just about to say that.

I had a buddy who (back after the 1st anomaly buff) would warp his (NANO FIT!) Titan and a scimitar in and use the scimi to give tracking links and remote sensor boosting to the Tit. He'd blap a forsaken hub in 2 minutes or less and then on to the next. Over and over again. 4-500 mil per hour, it was truly insane.

Not that I advocate carrier ratting, but a decent carrier fit good for ratting but not good for PVP costs less than most faction BS ratters or T3 setups, if they are using better than T2 gear.

.... thinks there should be an automatic "Announcement POPUP", like the one that warns you DT is an hour away, that is broadcast to the ENTIRE EvE community when someone is ratting in a carrier... including the location, ofc. Cool
