Hello wormholers!

I'm pretty new to the game so I've been in highsec running missions, mining, doing some pI. Basically wasting my time! I've decided to take my little corp of 1 and try to find a class 1 wormhole with a class 1 static to put a pos up. I'm trying to recruit some more me bros like myself oh want to make a go at it in wormholes.

From my understanding from lurking here the past few months I should be building a Death Star. I was able to take advantage of the test server and build one. My plan is to have a small industrial corp building t3 subsystems to start and when I have higher skills maybe the hulls as well. Most of my skill points are in science and production. While I'm not a great pvp'er I expect to lose quite a few ships but hopefully I can one day afford to lose them!

Here are my goals:
Find a C1 with a C1 static to farm
Build my Death Star
Recruit in new bros for fun wh living
Build a bunch of frigates and fit them for myself and corp mates
Take those frigates out through wh space and get them blown up
Rinse and repeat

I'm also going to start a blog documenting my life in wormholes from day 1 and on. I'm sure it will be entertaining to say the least!

Any word of advice?

Do your T3 manufacturing in high sec. you can even find people on this forum selling you corps with standings to do so.

Honestly, you'd be better off join an experienced group who will help you learn the ropes. I respect the desire to set up on your own, and maybe you could even run solo in a c1, but wormhole life is better experienced in a group. There's plenty of smaller corps who I'm sure would take you, even if it was for a limited time. Learn the ropes, set off on your own, and then fight the people that taught you. 'tis the circle.

Can you hear them? They are calling to us. It is beautiful. http://thegreattichim.wordpress.com/

I was unaware you could build t3's in highsec. I do have a pos set up in highsec already. I'll have to look into that some more. Thank you.

Thank you. I'll take that into consideration.

You cannot do polymers in high sec. but it is easier to buy them .less isk/tengu but more isk/(hours+clicks+risk)

All C1 WHs have a K-space exit, they don't have static WH connections.
Death Star's are suitable for C1 but if you move to a higher class expect to need additional defenses.
It will likely be cheaper and more viable to purchase frigates off the market than building your own.
Your exit from your WH will likely be to HS so you may be making quite a few jumps to get into an area that you can pvp in.
C1 WHs are a pain to roll so expect to be left with the connection you get when you open it, especially if you are in a small group.

All of that said, you are probably better off just basing in HS a jump out from LS to get your pvp fun and save yourself the risk/cost of maintaing a POS in a WH and risking your assets. Though if you decide to proceed, welcome to W-Space :)
