Arget (FTFY Blink) is also on my ballot, however a little lower on the list. And that is only because WH living is not something I have been able to partake in at this point.

No. So you'll have to hack the process a bit. That just makes the voting more fun. P

I'd vote for you if I didn't have to do anything illegal to do so!

I, too, would vote for Tippia. Make it happen next year.

No, that's really independent of the race.

EVE's character creator is the best I've ever seen. Do you have any specific changes you'd suggest? Some more clothing options would be really nice and it would be nice if I could make them smile without looking creepy. Overall though, I think that the toon maker has a lot going for it.

P.S. Would also be nice if WIS toon looked more like the char creator toon.

I agree, it's the best out there.
It's also the only one I know. xD

Suggestions...

You can add a slight smile.
Slight, but noticeable.
Also using the eyebrowmuscles to express emotions.

Different poses also make you express different emotions depending on
the angle you put the head in. Slight differences have a huge impact on
the appearance, but you will only notice if you manage to notice them on real people.

I would strongly suggest not looking at reallife models,
because they are the worst referrence you could use.

I guess you never asked yourself why most characters look more like robots
than anything else? You probably never noticed?

Empathy. People communicate far more through their body than through words,
including the sound of the voice as bodily expression here, btw.

The simple reason why most characters look like sick freaks that lack soul,
(not to confuse with chars who deliberately try to look like that. A noticeable difference)
is that most people have lost the ability to consciously judge the emotional content of others.

It's completely untrue when people claim that one can not judge other people by their looks.
How they talk (what they say, how they say it, the words they use, sound), walk, move their arms or hands,
how they use their eyes, what clothes they wear, etc etc etc.

Science, *****! Or empathy, if you want. Science actually still hasn't caught up.

Sooooo if you want to improve your charactefs look and emotional content,
then ... as weird as it sounds ... I'd suggest you look at lots of videos of teenagers,
especially girls. The hyperactive ones. They lack most self control and keep expressing
without thought.

Then... the most important part... copy it.

You can copy any emotional state simply by copying the expression and feeling
what it changes inside of you. You can try this easily yourself by not smiling all day, deliberately.
Or make an angry face. Your body responds. Muscles are the outter mirror of your inner being.

The body is a feedback system and emotions and feelings are a part of it.

Also... walk around and pretend an emotional state while talking and learn to see how people
react. Their faces. Body languages. Sound.

Avoid books about theory. They are all crap.
NLP books can help, unless they contain too much theory.
There is no single book that can teach you what you coudln't learn yourself
by experimenting.

If you ever get to meet a con artist, talk to him.

They know their ****... I can tell. :)

lol I guess I disgressed a bit. That always happens when I start to talk about this.

I'd run for CSM, but that would hardly be fair towards the other candidates.

I have wasted many hours attempting a genuine smile. The character creator does not model faces correctly, so I have only ever succeeded in a rictus.

There are other ways to make an EVE portrait expressive, but even those are limited.

I have run into problems where the model in the character customization screen and the model in the portrait screen are different, and a character that looks as I wish them to suddenly has hair going through their cheek and coming out of their jaw.

The EVE character is unrivaled where it is best. It is not even release quality in some other ways.

Nice face!
Proper!
And I agree!

10/10 would date happy lady!

edit: ... your char has thoughts in the back of her mind. She questions the intentions of others. She is more of a pretender. She is genuinly happy but also able to display this happyness with sinister thoughts behind. A thoughtfull character, calm and self concious. The attempted naivity she displays is just show.

Hey that whole post definitely doesn't mirror my bitterness about it.

I have to live with it.
No alts allowed.
Sad. lol

Although it would make influencing the masses much easier.

I believe that people who rip words and sentences out of context,
without actually doing it intentionally just to troll,
suffer from an emotional (others might call it mental?) disabilty.

You're just trying to troll, right? :)
