So, is this version is still running on numbers from October? Or is it/when will it be updated for actual release stats?

Every now and again, but quite often, (seemingly random) EFT will not save changes I've made, be it to configuration or fittings.
There will be no files written, or any action to save anything really.

Until now most similar problems were caused by denied access by UAC or people shutting down their PCs before exiting EFT. If no more reports from other people with such problems appear you should look for the roots of the problem on your system.

That's what I ran into as solutions when I first encountered the problem, but sadly none of these seem to work out. :(
UAC is turned off on all my computers, I've ran it across different OS's over time. (Vista, 7, not sure if I tried XP before that, maybe)
I've even dug deeper and made directories which are set to allow everything by everyone, placing EFT in there, etc. etc.

I'll try it again with the newest version; set up a completely 'open' directory, place EFT inside, run the settings again recursively and hope for the best...

Is there a version of EFT that recognizes the new Oneiros setup? It changed considerably in Crucible.

If I'm not mistaken, 2.13.5 handles this.

On another note, it seems that the Phoenix's DPS is not taking into account the effects of Siege Module I (the other three dreads are fine).

Also, any ETA on when the new T2 mods are coming in?

Thanks for making a great tool!

That was the version I was using. Unless there's a special setting I'm not aware of to change the Oneiros setup Crucible version, this is not handled in 2.13.5

I too am receiving the wininet error #127, Windows Vista 32bit, when trying to import characters.

Thanks Gripen as always for the good work, hope you find a fix for this problem soon!

This version still does not like Meta 4 guns.

Also, is there anyway to import damage profiles, instead of manually importing them. I know in previous version you could add them to the config file, but i can't find that file anywheres...

since Crucible deployed exporting fittings with

this modules was renamed ingame into

Medium Automated Carapace Restoration
Y-S8 Hydrocarbon Afterburners

by removing "I" - tech level one sign

P.S. possibly all "named" modules has such type of 'modification' - I didn't check others

P.P.S. thank you for EFT

Also noob question. When you save a setup to clipboard, where does it actually go? As in the save directory.

nowhere - fitting just copied into system clipboard as a plain text - you can "paste" it where you want

Other modules are just about every meta 4 modules. Meta ECM jammers, meta MWD, meta remote reps, just to name a few modules.

Otherwise great tool, been using it for 4 years and can't imagine playing eve without it. Being able to theory fit ships without an active internet connection has been a way to keep from going insane when routers die.

Strange, mine shows the correct (new) slot layouts for it (4/4/5).

One quick EFT question.

I haven't used EFT since the 2.13ish versions. There seems to be a new statistic that shows up for some ship designs right next to the words... "Ship Parameters:".... there now sometimes appears the words "(Rating X,XXX) where X,XXX is some number... usually something around 1/10 the effective HPs.

What is this "Rating"?

Thanks.

Run the program, the config-file gets created once the program runs for the first time.

Your using Windows ****-sta, there's a reason your having problems. Upgrade your OS to Windows 7 and **** off with the bitching imo.
Better yet, learn coding, programming, and all the wonderful things Gripen has taken his time to learn and just write/code your OWN fix for the problem and post it here like a boss. However, you'll probably embark on this, then suddenly realise that "OHSHIT, this crap this way more complicated than I'd have thought" and you'll gain an appreciation what kind of hard work is require to make things like this be compatible with **** software like Microsoft ****-sta. Then you'll cut your bitching in due course and then hopefully just upgrade to Windows 7 in the end and save us all further posts about the ****-sta failing to authenticate.

^ This all at Xen especially, as much as we ruv your trolling in dod local, Gripen deserves nothing but respect at this point.

Feel free to upgrade us to Win7. I was unaware that coders could fix bugs without reports of whats wrong. Lets see, pay $200 to use EFT or pay nothing and use Pyfa until its fixed. Tough choice. If its not working in a strict environment (Vista x64) its only a matter of time until 7 releases a security patch that will break EFT there also. The wininet error is a bug that needs to be fixed.

BTW programming is not some epic journey into the depths of hell thats so hardcore only the top minds could hope to understand it. There is always a solution to any problem that doesn't involved tossing out a single modern and widely used OS that works fine except for one application.

I would be more than happy to help debug the issue. Perhaps a debug enabled version so you can get some log files? As I understand its closed source.

Confirmed, I had the same error on Win7 x64. A second try solved the issue.

Great tool!

I am having the same problem with EFT. It gives me that Win error or whatever. Multiple attempts at importing my character has not resolved the issue.

As for the titans, it seems it is actually a bug with all bonuses. If I set a squad command of only a character with all level 5 skills ( No Ship ), my cap recharge goes up. I don't think that should happen, right?

Can you write a reproduction steps? Or a screenshot?

You are probably confusing Large Autocannon Specialization skill with Large Projectile Turret skill.

There is. Latest version always linked in the first post.

Are you sure you are fitting citadel torpedo or citadel cruise missile launchers?

More DPS means you do more damage per unit of time. More EHP gives you more time to deal the damage. Rating is an integral value from those two parameters. It's explained in FAQ.

Just downloaded latest release (Friday evening 12/2); when attempting to import user API I got a WinInet error; tried second time and it worked. Just FYI.
