Im torn. Dont know what to do

out of ANY combo of ships, but not ******** expensive ones (so like battleships, t3 and below.. no marauders or pirate BS) what do you think goes for the best combo for running c3's as fast as possible?

2 RR Domis with t2 sentries? Is there another combo?

I was thinking 2 RR domis.. warp in drop mobile tractor beam and since c3's dont spawn to far i could get rid of the drone links and put salvagers in there place and just do it as i go.

But in aother way i wouldnt mind spending a few extra minutes on a site using only 1 char (that way if i do get ganked it doesnt hurt as bad) and bring in a noctis afterwords.

I can fly any ship, any race near perfection (130+ msp)

What do you think the fastest way to clear c3's by myself is?

Spidertanked shieldishtars i'd say are one of the fastest and very cheap compared to T3.

Laserlegions / Zealots work great too, but aint as fast as decent fit Shieldishtars or Marauders ( seriously they are definetly the fastest if in a Dou).

Another solution, as allready mentioned above, ( and VERY stupid though) is 2 Marauders with atleast 2 large Smartbombs each to kill all frigs within a short amount of time.

I discovered mobile depots (i been away from eve for some time)

I would imagine running 2x RR Sentry domis (each of my chars have like 14msp into drones and Gal BS V) having each char drop mobile tractor units and i would think by the time the sites down almost all wrecks would be pulled in, i could scoop the tractor units and drop a mobile depot and refit to all salvagers.

Does this seem like to much work, or does it sound like it could work out pretty well?

i'd say RR domis is your best bet and wrecks don't despawn for 2 hours iirc so...

drop a tractor at each site, finish clearing it, move to next one, when you run out of MTUs warp back to the BM you made of previous site, pick 'em up. MTU's can only be picked up by the person who placed them, so this would mean a 2 minute pause every couple sites at most.

TP + Valks make quick work of frigs (ty potato fleet ^^)

let's you keep running with little pause and as you come up to 2 hours (usually more than enough farming to make you hate yourself) quickly run around with an 8 salvager noctis & clear it all up nice & quick.

gl, hope i find your c3 :)

Just echoing this, can't put MTUs too close to each other, plus they'll keep tractoring each others wrecks.

Just say NO to Dailies

Stealth bomber.

2-3 volleys into their noctis, scoop loot.

Just as a goof I tried to run c3s on my own with dual boxing domis. Fort frontier stronghold was finished in 7 minutes. Outposts took a little longer, solar cells with third bs spawn was downed in 10 minutes. Oruze took forever so I skipped em.

Spent 45ish minutes in that c3 and took away about 130m in blue loot and 20m in ribbons.

I took an artillery Maelstrom into a C3 last night and cleared Fortification Frontier Stronghold in about 14 minutes. Should have been faster, but I was goofing off with my MJD and botched a jump. Tank kept up very easily, DPS application was a little troublesome with frigates and cruisers, and the drone skills on the character are fairly weak. Lots of room for improvement in character and piloting skills; I think I'll get it down to 10 minutes if I practice. A LMJD in the mids makes keeping range pretty trivial, MTUs gather loot nicely, and if you stay off the beacon and position yourself across or near the abundant colloidable objects in the site, you're more likely to decloak a would-be ganker. Most won't want to try to gank your battleship, though, because Maelstroms are tried-and-true bait ships, and in a 1400 artillery config can just delete some popular ships off the field in a volley (Sabres, mostly). Would-be gankers will typically wait for your salvager instead.

C3s aren't particularly hard. It's mostly about just finding a good recipe for tank under neuts, and figuring out how to most quickly run the sites given your ship type. Cap boosters or about 30%+ cap stability both are valid approaches. If you're going to run sites cap-boosted, use a hauler to drop off a can of charges at a safe spot.

IMHO the quickest and easiest path to sufficient tank and DPS solo in C3 sites remains a Tengu. If set up the way I prefer, they are agile, quick, and capable of "true solo" in wormholes. Battleships have some profound limitations, but are fun if you don't mind losing them.

And the most fun way to run sites remains "gank their salvager." :-)

Here's the one I used yesterday. Not saying it's the best; saying it was adequate to the job. As always, "solo" in a wormhole means "cover the exits with a scout with combat probes covering the whole system, and watch for new ship sigs on probe scan."

Will try the outpost Frontier Stronghold today and intentionally botch a trigger. I think it'll do just fine.

Skill assumption: Minmatar battleship 5, T2 guns. With less than that, the tank may not be quite adequate without going deadspace or faction. This is by far the CHEAPEST* solo PvE ship I've ever used in C3 space. You'll make back its cost in 4-5 anomalies at most.

*that wasn't a Drake. At half the DPS and a bit more than half the cost, a C3 site-running Drake will take at least the same amount of time and perhaps longer to pay for itself from sites...

This fit is pretty fast, BS webs are the main thing that slow you down. I run frontiers in about 10 mins solo since they are the fastest to run. Your tank handles everything just fine, BS spawns are difficult but as long as you are moving you are fine.
