Would be a very cool feature indeed. You'd think that mega corporations operating within the empires space would have options to advertise (a lot).

Only question is how to prevent a gate or station from being completely swarmed with these things.

Oh yeah... Even more spam with useless deployables in space. After Depot PENISes we'll next see Billboard PENISes with actual depictions of the word in the hologram? CCP should instead introduce a Flu-shot-like vaccine that all the remaining rest of sanity can protect itself from this kind of daft ideas. Roll

When i have to chose between cans with adverts on them, or billboards with adverts on them. i chose billboards.

They are no more or less annoying than the cans that are anchored at gates and stations now.

The only problems are that cans don't lag out the game as much as mass-depoting and mass-billboarding does, as well as that you don't see cans in 0.8+ ... well, probably that limitation will also fall with the summer expansion. So, I want my vaccine and my antibodies! Right now! Evil

IF billboards cause significant server load, then no. but would they really?

At first I read "deployable Killboards"

And quite honestly the more I think about that, the more I like it.

What better way to flaunt your superiority than to not only kill whomever you want, but also to place a giant billboard with that killmail just in front of your victims homestation or POS?

Stupidity should be a bannable offense.

Fighting back is more fun than not.

There are a lot of possibilities for this Billboards or Kill Boards as you may see. I believe a controlled number kinda like slots for each system and based on demand for that system sets the price. Just like Corp Offices. Lastly if you feel that inflation in Eve is out of hand this would be a isk sink for the economy
