after a good session of mining, i recall drones, unlock mining lasers, click dock


all the ship does is roll back in forth stuck in war

exiting and logging off does not always work

You've forced your ship to mine for so long that it's had enough and wants out. It's now becoming sentient, disobeying your commands, these problems will continue to increase until you fit your mining ship for PvP and let it blow off some steam.

Sometimes when I get stuck against a station after hitting warp, I hit ctrl+c to stop the ship then just double click in space in the opposite direction, once you get away from the structure you just hit dock again

See now if you were a good miner the rocks would no longer be there because you mined them all, thus eliminating the problem.

Sounds like early stages of mining syndrome. Contact a new order agent at your earliest convenience and they will make sure it get's treated before irreversible damage is done.

Don't mine so close to the rocks. Lasers will shut themselves off when you go into warp. Shift+R to recall your drones, then warp away to empty.

They say most of your brain shuts down on the EvE forums. All but the impatient side, and the sarcastic side. No wonder I'm still awake.

I can do this on a rorq. All inertia stabs in lows, MWD as soon as I'm out of indy mode: BAM! Rorqual Barrel roll.

Hit control-spacebar to cancel warp. Manually pilot away from whatever thing you are stuck on. Warp home safely.

True story; my friend lost his very first battleship to rats in a belt for this exact same reason. He didn't know you could stop ship/cancel warp either. Serves him right though, mining in an Armageddon (even if that was the meta du-jour, that's no excuse!) Mind, this was back when earning enough for your first BS was still kind of a big deal.
