People, get over it.

you cant have a character in a vacuum.
acting is reacting

That's true. I should know. xD

But sometimes people don't seem to react to the character,
but to the person.

Or I'm wrong. I'm a bit tired.

BTW, did you really like the picture from the 19th floor of the hospital?
I thought of taking a few more for you but didn't know if you really cared.

So?

I do hope you note that the change to mineral compression makes supercap building significantly more expensive and work intensive than it has been in the past.

but don't forget when you get 14% extra minerals when you refine your compressed ore, it'll make your supercaps cheaper!

Goons win again.

EVE is a game about spaceships and there's an enormous amount of work to do on the in-space gameplay before players (or developers) are ready to sacrifice it for a totally new type of gameplay - CCP Rise

Not being familiar with that blogger I went and read some of his previous blogs. As I expected, a whole lot of assumption with no substance.

What also wasn't surprising was the confirmation of something we all know:

I look forward to watching the PCU drop when the changes described in this and the subsequent industrial blogs are implemented.

Some people are honestly just itching to see EVE die, just to validate their worldview. And like all doomsday predictors, when the end doesn't come, they just ignore that fact, set the date back a few months and keep predicting doomsday.

This summer I'm going to link the above quote every time Dinsdale predicts the coming end of EVE....at the next Winter expansion....

eve will never die, it will perpetually live on funded by the subscriptions of doomsday predictors who refuse to cancel their subscription.

I love how industrial players have been crying for years that industry needs some developer attention, yet the moment that they get their wish they start whining about it.

Yup, and like I keep saying, the changes dictated to the lackeys of the CSM take about 6 months to be coded and applied.
Not that T2 invention is not being ruined in high sec until the winter release, as per the "dev's".

And yes, I do eagerly await the PCU and sub drops, so some of the investors get fed up and step in, sweep away the current CCP mentality of "null sec online", and reverse out these changes. That is the only thing that can save the game.

At least you're honest about wanting Eve to fail.

EVE is a game about spaceships and there's an enormous amount of work to do on the in-space gameplay before players (or developers) are ready to sacrifice it for a totally new type of gameplay - CCP Rise

Which to me is the funniest thing. The very people who want it to die (as a lesson to a game company to never ever do anything outside of the ordinary themepark standards of the industry) are the people propping it up. Oh the Irony.

Why does this remind me of some Vampire movie I was dragged to by my wife where douchy vamp-dude kept saying "I have to kill you to make you live"?

Why wouldn't you just go play some other game that already does what you want it to do (Star Trek Online is an excellent example and I play it still, 'griefing' gets the ban hammer, everything is done with the safety and well being of each player, no unwanted/unasked for player interaction at all ect ect)?

The one good sandbox game on the market and you and your ilk just can't wait to get some 'new investors' in to turn it into the same bland nothingness the rest of the MMO industry is.

You can keep hoping. But what you never take into account is that most people aren't like you and don't want the same as you. This is why EVe survives even after years and years and years of your bellyaching. Some of us actually like EVE and it's community and it's makers , and will preserve it.

5. Trolling is prohibited.

Trolling is a defined as a post that is deliberately designed for the purpose of angering and insulting other players in an attempt to incite retaliation or an emotional response. Posts of this nature are disruptive, often abusive and do not contribute to the sense of community that CCP promote.

22. Post constructively.

Negative feedback can be very useful to further improve EVE Online provided that it is presented in a civil and factual manner. All users are encouraged to honestly express their feelings regarding EVE Online and how it can be improved. Posts that are non-constructive, insulting or in breach of the rules will be deleted regardless of how valid the ideas behind them may be. Users are also reminded that posting with a lack of content also constitutes non-constructive posting.

31. Rumor mongering is prohibited.

Rumor threads and posts which are based off no actual solid information and are designed to either troll or annoy other users will be locked and removed. These kinds of threads and posts are detrimental to the wellbeing and spirit of the EVE Online Community, and can create undue panic among forum users, as well as adding to the workload of our moderators.

Thread locked.

Posting explicitly to elicit a hostile response, followed by conspiracy theories regarding CCP's decisionmaking doesn't sound like constructive posting to me.
