If you know odds well enough to be a good gambler, then you know very well the odds are not worth risking.

Knowing the odds makes you an informed gambler. What you do with that information can lead to disaster or riches. I know people that consistently succeed at one or the other and others that basically break even consistently enough to get the high while never going to deep.

I myself only partake in $10 - $20 crap tables period. At the least the lost money can be wrtten off as cost to drink.

When the CQ was first implemented, it was only good for 2 things: ganking video cards and creating hordes of ship spinning tearfest threads.

They fixed those, and now all its good for is making slow motion walking videos to Imagine Dragons "Radioactive", or seeing how it looks when I walk around in circles with 2 cybernetic arms.

Since the cessation of their usefulness is imminent, may I appropriate your belongings?

A good implementation of CQ would add more interactive depth. I'd like the Pleasure / Quafe station back as a background for CQ.

Not many people realizes, that the team Avatar went for 2 year prototyping and testing what would work best for the avatar gameplay, they have much more bigger and better plans for the EVE Universe.

CQ exists to unite all of Eve against a common CCP made disaster.

This is not a signature.

Pretty sure most of us signed up for internet spaceships. Couldn't care less about WiS

This, I wish theyd just remove it and admit it was a mistake and doesnt belong.

Let the "work on WiS or I walk" ppl walk. Go play Start citizen or something.

ER I mean when it comes out... years from now...

And, isn't sanity really just a one-trick pony anyway? I mean all you get is one trick, rational thinking, but when you're good and crazy, oooh, oooh, oooh, the sky is the limit.

And that's the thing: in Star Citizen, being on foot is actually being built into the game from the ground up and will be an important gameplay mechanic. In EVE, WiS will not functionally change a damn thing. Total waste of effort.

In ten years people will say "When are they putting FiS in SC?"

And they will have a Captain's Hangar where you can fly a little noobship around an empty hangar

So why no ingame gambling?

With a vid screen in CQ you can have virtual slots, poker, chess...whatever, for isk.

Why not CCP?

At this stage, I'll repeat the suggestion I made 3 years ago: spin WiS/Incarna/Ambulation off into a seperate game with deep EVE links, fund it with Kickstarter, and let a new dedicated team that will give it the ongoing attention it merits handle it. CCP as presently structured will never be able to give WiS the full attention it needs to become anything worth while.

Not really. Ive prety much accepted that "the door" will never be opened to the station. What I want is something to do in CQ.

Otherwise just get rid of the damn thing.

I welcome Doireens creation spree!

GD is far too dead and she's at least not trolling.
At least not obviously. Maybe. lol

No matter how dead this walking around is... it would be cool to recruit npc crews for certain damage control or like an alternative to drug boosts. Crew dies when your ship dies, recruit new crew throughout station.

Also Pleasure Hubs doesn't hurt unrated online games. P
