Are Gallente Command Ships viable after Crucible?

Or is the Slepnir still full of win? I'm not a math guy so I don't spend alot of time crunching numbers. Even if i I did, I'm not sure if numbers will tell the entire story of the capabilities of a Eos or Astarte with the release of Crucible.

Thoughts? Prognostication?

psh the astarte has always been godly, now it's just better.

There are already a few threads that cover this, but in short - no.

Information warfare links are still abysmal.
Hybrids aren't fixed.
Active repair is still bottom of the heap for anything other than 1v1.

Power distribution within Command ships has hardly changed, but, say, Vindicator is even more awesome now.

As for Command ships, the whole class is the most nerfed one in the whole EVE. And no, Black Ops don't even come close, being actually fine for the most part.

I was looking at the Astarte and Deimos last night and I WILL be flying them. Pretty sure the Thorax is also hands down the best T1 cruiser now, FWIW.

Ed: BTW, seeing as how the Hybrid boost just wasn't good enough I'll buy Astartes at 140M. Low sec preferred, high sec passable. Keep your undockable 0.0 bullshit. Make contracts out to me.
