So why no ingame gambling?

With a vid screen in CQ you can have virtual slots, poker, chess...whatever, for isk.

Why not CCP?

Give CQ a reason for existing.

Putting gambling into the game officially may put CCP at odds with some country's jurisdiction on commercial gambling.

Because gambling is a sin and its for the mentally numb

If CQ was more interesting, Doireen would be busy and wouldn't create so many threads.

It's worth it guys. Please build it.

There is the option to buy a PLEX for real money and procure game currency through it. While this may be a one way transaction, it could be argued that CCP could be making real money profits on the game money gambling in their game.

1) We actually had a working and meaningful in-game "Winamp". It was never touted as a feature of the game and was widely used.

I use the ingame browser. I post as I play. Long hauls between systems gets boring.

It is a constant reminder of what happens when CCP ignores real Eve gameplay to cater to roleplayers.

EVE is a game about spaceships and there's an enormous amount of work to do on the in-space gameplay before players (or developers) are ready to sacrifice it for a totally new type of gameplay - CCP Rise

Man, if you could all sit down at a table and play poker for isk I think that'd be great. If you could control your characters facial expressions that'd be even better for trolling.

I would not play video poker inside a spaceship video game inside of my computer where I can already play video poker.

There's a game called planet Calypso you can play right now where just firing your gun at something is literally placing a bet. Knock yourself out.

I would use WiS / Gambling rather than training skills and logging off to play another game.
