Making War Declarations Available for Public Interest

Just like a Kill Right can be made public for anyone to accept I think that War Declarations should also be made available for public acceptance as well.

Let's say that Marmite Alliance War Dec's your corp because of the CODE Alliance being butt hurt about not getting their way with you. You look up Marmite and discover that they are Anti-Goon Swarm.

You then contract the War Declaration out to Goon Swarm who then accepts it if they want to so Goon Swarm can handle their enemies legally.

I think you can do this with war allies, but I have no idea how this works other than assitance requests.

If it's an ally in the war your want, then that already exists.

If you are looking to be able to wash your hands of a war, and just give it to someone else... No, that's not how it works. The problem with that is that it would be trivial to hand off your war decs to a 1 person corp, who never undocks. Oh, I have a war dec, I'll give to my alt, he never undocks from Jita.

You seem to be under two misconceptions. Allow me to correct them.

A: Goons are already at war with Marmites all the time. Making the option to go to war with Marmites more open will not cause Goons to join your war, since they are already able to pewpew Marmites if they want.
B: Goons do not actually care about being at war in hisec. They do not pewpew with Marmites because Marmites are cowards who do nothing but play station games, and there are no good fights to be had against them.

Really, I'm not sure what it is you're suggesting, here. It strikes me that you want an option to say "I'd sure like it if someone agreed to act as free mercenaries for me," but want to combine the proposition "I'm too lazy to actually go looking for free mercenaries, so I'd like them to come to me instead."

Hence, the point of this thread, as I understand it, is "CCP, will you make me a 'looking for free mercenaries' flag?"
