Please reduce the number of digits displayed for Angular velocity, or let us configure it to the number of digits we wish to display.

When the tracking for an Arty Nag is ~0.0017 and the digits on the display go to 0.0000001, I think too many digits are being shown.

How about a setting that allows it to display in scientific notation in such cases ?

EVE is what happens when the rule of law does not apply and Darwinism is allowed to run freely.

Why this is a problem? Just make the column so short that it doesn't display the decimals _YOU_ aren't interested. This doesn't need Apple like approach; "hide information users usually don't need"

Posting to confirm that when displaying Angular Velocity on my overview, I resize the column until it only shows the first four digits after the decimal.

Also confirming that this method does indeed work and is quite effective.

Posting to state that Alvatore Dimarco's comment is 100% effective at conveying the uselessness of the OP's suggestion.

Scientific notation isn't helpful for quick reading.

How much herp could a herp derp derp if a herp derp could herp derp.

I get that resizing the overview does work and i still do it.

But why does it need to go to the 7th decimal point? as most of you say, you resize it to the 4th point and that's it. is There a need for this much information?

Because a long time ago when eve was an idea or 2 written on a napkin or post it note...at some point the decision was made to go from napkin to actual lines of code. It is here devs made long lasting choices. Such as data types and how large they will be. Make the data value not hold enough information and years later down the road you are looking potentially at extensive recoding of the application and schema changes on the database.
