I believe what this station needs is a disco.

At the undock.

I hope they make it a kickout station!

Oh boy!

Killmail with Chribba on it!

I could retire happily! xD

out front maybe, like a horse post. ooh and a tether to make sure it doesn't float away!

Yes, and some Rainbows for the TEST supercap pilots so they feel at home :)

I'm excited about this now

There's a problem with that. Several problems, actually.

1. if you're looking for Chribba's killmail, you'd BETTER retire, because killing Chribba is an offense punishable by being hunted down by nearly everyone in the game. You'd be on 90% of the playerbase's KOS lists until you quit EVE, forever.

2. If you're looking for Chribba to help you kill someone, you'd better get used to disappointment, because I can't ever recall him opening fire on another player, for any reason. He's EVE Buddha, remember?

While I agree with what you say Jarod I think its much more important to keep the discussion on track with regard to fixtures and Fittings ... I would suggest a large 70's glitterball for the Disco and maybe a leopard print theme for the seating

I just want kittens in my CQ. And a Tom Baker scarf.

Garamonde was created in 2007, but I, as a player, have been around from the beginning. Even if I don't get access right away because my toon is only 7 years old, I will in Feb 2017, and I am hoping that my spacekitties and ridiculously long multicolor neckwear will be waiting for me in Bitterhub. I plan on seeing EVE through til the end.
And even when the end comes, I hope I have enough money to buy the rights when it shuts down and run a private server.

Also, Bitterhub should be a Jovian station. I know those models still exist, somewhere.

So I'm assuming this station is just going to be for ***** and giggles? No market, no offices, no industry slots... Right?

So far we have agree a pleasure dome, 70's disco and somewhere for the ponies to be tethered
why would you want an office when you have a disco ?

Would you happen to have a Minmatar one with a decent-sounding name? My original toon was Minmatar (don't remember the name), so that would work....

Meh.... I'll probably take whatever is going for the cheapest. EVEmail me a list of the ones up for grabs, and the prices... if I like any of them, we'll discuss a transfer.

EVEmail me details. Reject looks like she's been constant subbed, so she'll probably be pretty expensive, I'm assuming.
In any case, give me a price on each of them, in an EVEmail, and I'll see what kind of ISK I can scrape together....

wait, people are taking the constant sub thing seriously?

btw, i purchased Reject for 4b, and it was just for hipster novelty i think. not wanting to make a profit or loss, with a transfer cost it would be 5.5b ~! (****)

here's what i'm thinking about the constant-sub thing. the three in attendance at fanfest received titan video cards. pretty significant, even if the situation was that CCP ended up with 'these video cards' and needed to find a small group to award them to.

the game is barely integrated with the billing half of the house, so for a station to check if an account has been constantly subbed every time a player attempts to dock is probably not a small deal.

the employment history system it is familiar with is the born date or employment history (the case of boo berry), which makes much more sense as a docking rights disqualifier.

It's not the e-peen "constant sub" issue.... it's the amount of SP I'm thinking of. SP only means so much, in-game, but it is part of the factoring for how much a toon sells for.

If you're selling Reject, for THAT price, then we have a deal, for sure. Put up the "I'm selling this toon to Jarod Garamonde for this price. Bidding is closed" thread, and give me 24 hours to transfer the isk.

By the time a bittervet station is a thing, I'll be able to dock in it. My toon is ~3 years old as of my writing this.

How much herp could a herp derp derp if a herp derp could herp derp.

A few things, minus i think 3 months total, i was subbed for 10 years. i unsubdued for my honeymoon for a month in 2005, and sometime in 2011 i stopped paying, was dealing with a new born and wife said 'if your not playing...' but i seem to recall that i kept da alive during that time.

I would not be that hard to do it with billing, but ti would not be instant. For example they could do it like they do with alliance logos. During a patch DT they grab the current list of 10 years who have subbed the entire time, and flip a flag in game that allows them to dock. Once the flag is set thats it. So each update the list gets bigger of allowed. Just like they prep alliance logos to go in during patches as well.
